but is it the second series that links on from the first?

or is it the 6 episode mini series that goes into the history of the characters, do you know?

Sorry no idea, I have only seen the first series, but I saw one random episode on TV and I think it was set earlier than the first series.

could be the prequel to it.

this thread has been great. got me watching game of thrones and sparticus. look forward to the rest of the shows you guys suggest.

even got me to get the George R.R. Martin series for my birthday to read. albeit only have the first 2 and a half but that shall keep me occupied for a while, while this season of BB expires and i attempt promotion once again

game of thrones was bloody great , sparticus will hopefully have a 2nd season soon though i did read the main actor had cancer and the show was delayed .

whats boardwalk empire about ?

i really enjoy medieval or space sci fi series , so if anyone has some other shows they can suggest , newer ones hopefully as i have seen most series.

I've been watching "Falling Skies" while awaiting the new seasons of "Sons of Anarchy" and "The Walking Dead". It's been ok, probably only just starting to get really interesting by Ep 7-8 (8 was best ep yet).

Yeah it hasn't been blowing me away by any means, really just a gap filler till the juicy stuff comes out. My gf and I both found that it has finally found something after the 7th ep, so I'll see it through to the end of season 1.

Game of thrones was easily my favourite series of the year so far. Been reading book one and finding it easily as good as expected. Really filling in some of the gaps from the tv series. In saying that, so far the series has done a pretty good job of sticking to the book's story.
