As I wrote before we should differentiate between developers (thet try to do their best) and managers/owners (I don't think they do their business well).

I don't know as I don't know where to find this kind of information. But I guess that BB-marin and new staff he mentioned are employees that get salaries, but some senior BB's that started the game like charles should be owners.

Yeah, Charles and Mark are the owners (as far as I know, maybe even Forrest), the rest of us are employees.

About the MOTD: I usually post it once I have an understanding of what the problem is. Sometimes it takes some time to do that. I'll try to post even a basic vague "it's being worked on" message from now on, but I don't think a MOTD should be used in a way to lie to users (to say we are working on something when we are not).

For me there are several points:
1) place information on news page (probably this is MOTD?) as soon as possible to show BB's are aware of the bug and are solving it ... this had happened quite often with exception of point 2)
2) be aware of problem as soon as possible and start to solve critical problems without any delay ... as you wrote your team doesn't cover 24 hours a day ... but probably should cover critical days/time and monitoring should be set this way that staff in emergency call get message if there is any critical issue in any time
3) think how generally solve the situations when some delays can influence major damage to some users (e.g. if someone can't set NT lineup last 5 hours before match, if training is not done in advance before the match, if postpone of match calculation means that some sold player can't play the match, because was sold between scheduled time and time of real calculation of the game), in same case like league finals, NT semifinals/finals it can caused damage in matches someone is waiting for very long time and all the effort can be suddenly gone due to some bugs or troubles in site.

My worries at the moment:
Training in my country is set for 28/10/2011 10:57:00 (no NT player in foreign country we scheduled training later), our NT game is set for 28/10/2011 18:40:00. For me it's a busy day tomorrow, I'm not sure if I log into BB last time before match at 14:00 or 17:00 or some other time and I'm not sure if training is done by this time. That's why I have already set the lineup even if I don't know the game shape.

not to lie... but it;s something like "ok, the devs will know about this ASAP". that kind of motd. because i see threads opening like this: 1 in global, 1 in help, 3-4 in bugs. Some of them raging, some of them other types, and I think that if people know that the devs will be contacted asap, they will stop this forum massacre:P that's actually the point from where i see it.

this is exaclty what i ment when i made my comment about the MOTD. thought it was clear enough. for the BB it wasnt but for several users it clearly was. Noone expects people to lie. but a small message that people are working on the problem, or looking into it or whatever you want to write there. but something to let the users know that the BB staff is looking into this...

But basically that is a lie.
If one of the GMs posts that message, it doesn't mean that anyone's looking into it.

If training or the economic update is late, don't you think it'll be pretty much the first thing they see when one of the developers log in? I hope they don't need a MOTD posted by a GM for this.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

i have said this too. exactly the same thingand if the BB staff cant monitor all these processes for whatever reason, than make a shedule and have some reliable GMs monitor the forums during these critical times and if something go wrong, they will be able to spot it in the forums fast enough and they should be able to phone or contact a BB staff. No offence, but if this is not wanted, than I do not believe that this game will ever develop from a hobby into something really serious...
