I'll still break down each opponent in the upcoming day's, hoping to find something that could help us to achieve that 6-1 record, but as things stand now, the only possibility of beating the Czech's, would cost us too much to be able to win another game. Thank you.

Huge game against Soumi on Monday! So everyone come on out and support your U21 team.

I'll try to remember to set my alarm clock to get up on time so I can watch too :)

Yeah, I won't be able to catch the game either. I can't wait to see the results though. This is the biggest game of my short tenure as U21 coach so far.

Sadly season 20 has ended :( Through many circumstances that were out of our control, we were not able to advance to the second round of the European championship. In the end, Suomi having HCA killed us, and I truly believe that if they did not have HCA we would have pulled off that game and advanced. Of course, that's not what happened and sometimes things just do not work out no matter how hard you try. We did finish in third though, which is actually our 2nd best finish in English U21 Championship tournament history (I know, that may sound a bit embarrassing). I was upset that we were not able to advance once again to the second round, but season 20 is over and now it is time to prepare for next season.

For the rest of this season we will be playing scrimmages to observe and get a better feel for our incoming class of 21 y/o's so we know what to expect come next season. We will try out different tactics and different players, so we can see which situations work out the best. It should be interesting, we have a lot of quality bigs coming up this season!

Lastly, I would like to thank a few people for helping out this season. First off, I would like to thank those who helped out with rookie scouting this season. Without Arrows-King, B.o.B., and Daniel Paton getting through those lists of various prospects would have been a pain. Their desire to help gave me more time to discuss the current U21 team, and help out some managers more closely. Thanks a bunch guys!

I would also like to thank all the managers who trained players who were on the team this season. Without you guys, well we wouldn't have a team :) Special thanks to those who cooperated week after week, and were understanding of our teams needs.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Eminence and GM-Revo for all their help this season. Together they helped to further teach me what it takes to be a U21 coach, and provided me with information I can use probably for the rest of my BB career (BB-career, silly isn't it :D ). I don't know where I would be without 'em.

Oh, and thanks to the the whole English community for supporting me and our team this season. For the most part, you guys were very courteous and a pleasure to work with. I'm excited to spend another great season with you guys!

Thank you

-Sean

Just to show how tough our draw was both the Czechs and Soumi have advanced to the Semis!

Also I logged on to watch the end of our game today(and while unfortunately it was a walkover) our lucky fans somehow managed to draw at least 69 fouls, is this common in these games or what. We were 14-116 from the free throw line and fouled out 10 of their players, one actually stayed in and got up to 8 fouls.

Yes, I really apologize for the walkover today. I was very busy throughout the weekend and was preparing to set the lineup sometime before 1 o'clock because that has been the time most of our scrimmages had been played. I logged on at 11, and quickly realized the game was being played at that exact time. I apologize for not setting a lineup, but at this point we really have all the information we need. I really should have taken the time to at least look at what time the game was playing, let alone set a default lineup just in case. I guess if I am going to mess up like this I rather it be during a scrimmage then the game. Lesson learned :)

Anyway, I am really looking forward to this upcoming season. We are lacking in certain areas but we are alos very strong in others. Hopefully we will be able to make some more noise in the consolation tournament!

As for Suomi and the Czech's, it's hard to believe we gave both of them a fairly good game. Suomi's HCA is really helping them, and the Czech's LI blank lineup just seems to be too strong for most of the other teams. It will be interesting to see how much longer our opponents will be able to go.

Hmm, if I had to guess I'd say they both bow out in the semis, Soumi just CTed, and well the Czechs are playing Poland.

Once again I apologize for the walkover today. I actually have a legitimate accuse though and let me just say I am not very happy. Anyway, at about 11:30 this morning I was looking through some U21 stuff and noticed I had been offered a scrimmage. I happily accepted knowing it would likely be postponed to a later time, but instead right when I pressed accept the scrimmage just started without allowing me to set a lineup or anything. I won't lie to you guys, I am a bit pissed and regret accepting the scrimmage offer. I know there is nothing I could have done (besides not pressing the accept button), but it kind of sucks to end season 20 with two forfeited scrimmages. Now I just can't wait for next season. It is time to begin scouting the upcoming draft class!!!
