I think the reason isn't sub-level of game shape. I think it's Respectable rebounding from Rastko. It has been known that Rebounding affects salary the most.

After adding the players salaries into the calculator, player 1 had a salary of $7445 and player 2 had a salary of $5642. The calculator hasn't been updated, so the salaries will be about 5-10% higher than that when updated , but both will be incorrect at the same percentage... The reason is definitely sublevel of gameshape.

Is there a chance that the higher potential adds a bit to the DMI score?

The same player with the same skills and same gameshape from week to week would have random dmi everytime. That is why I believe dmi is heavily linked to the sublevels of gameshape.

That wasn't my question. I see that player two has a higher potential than player 1, and was wondering if perhaps potential is a slight factor in determining DMI. I doubt it, but hadn't seen anyone mention it before so though I'd throw it out there.

Then I will answer the question again...

Is there a chance that the higher potential adds a bit to the DMI score?

The same player with the same skills and potential, and same gameshape from week to week would have random dmi everytime. Therefore it would have no bearing on the dmi score.

That's what I was asking, but it looks like you are only half right. Josef Ka is about to figure out the formula for DMI, meaning that it isn't random.

@GM-JosefKa- sweet. No need for further data?

Of course DMI is not random. Just look at a player (<30 years) who's GS is 9 from week to week and he's not getting any training: his DMI will slightly decrease from week to week - but this only comes from decreases in stamina (aprox. -0 - -500 per week in DMI). His DMI will never rise without training!

All other differences in DMI come from sublevels of GS. GS itself is calculated with a random factor. That's why DMI seems to be random.

I don't think you are correct about DMI rising without training. If a player's gs goes up, so will his DMI.

That's why he added GS 9 in his example. Afaik there are no sublevels in a game shape of 9 so as long as it's at 9, only a change of skills (in this case the decreasing staminia) will change the DMI.

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

My eyes glossed right over that minor point. Oops, and thanks for setting me straight.

Random to the figure of Gameshape, but not to its sub levels. I have said for a very long time that I believe sublevels of Gameshape are heavily related to the outcome of DMI... In fact im pretty sure you were one of the people who refused to entertain the idea that DMI wasn't totally random figure...
