I'll second Saul's sentiments. It simply won't be the same around here without these two long-time classy managers. With Torakiki leaving, it leaves me as the most senior manager. That is probably true in more ways than one:-) But if we think about these two teams, both have had several great Cup runs, especially Toonces, as well as developing some very nice talent. Let me join in wishing both of them success in III.

You sound bitter (understandable) but in your last II.4 game Saturday please don't take it out on me... I hate Azariah too.

You definitely had an enth advantage for game 3 (I went CT-Norm-CT starting at 9 enth for game 1) unless you had some crazy cup hangover. Your forwards had a lot of foul propensity, which went a long way toward me beating you in game 1 even "walking into" your 2-3 zone; and then you lose the rebounding boost from 2-3 in game 3 with the M2M. Overall, I wasn't shocked by the FT numbers of our teams in any of our games; I very consciously build my team to avoid foulers, even at the cost of some "benefits" of physical play. I think the game basically turned on Abelis getting handsy and fouling out with a big chunk of time left; most of Navarro's free throws were from Abelis fouls other than the down-the-stretch total (which contributed 8/10 to my FT stats, so I was 15/18 from the line in the "contested" phase of the game, not quite a big of a disparity as the box score suggests -- and of those 18, 10 were conceded by Abelis (4 shooting fouls of Navarro and 1 bonus foul of Navarro).

I'm certainly glad you didn't try something different with your offense, I suspect you might have had some pretty good success going balanced/inside against my 3-2 zone. Best of luck to you in D3 -- my last trip down, I was able to run stable on 270k salaries, all L4 staff, and a shortish cup run, so I don't think you'll have to get too medieval on your lineup if you don't want to.

Hey! Technical Fouls still has a chance. At least I hope he does. I really really hope he does.

Anyone put any thought into which NBBA team you'd prefer to see here next season? We got lucky with WFU this season, so I seriously doubt we'll get dhoff down here.

On another note, here are the DIII teams I'm not the least bit interested in playing next season:
Arizona Desert Storm (23605)
Jack Rabbits (23596)
ATL The Hawks (22996)
Rashmonsters (23873)
Mattakeunk Moose (31711)
And pretty much whoever wins III.11 (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/16/overview.aspx)

Guess I'd tend to agree.

But I still won't get over 2 foul shots. I'm sorry, but no matter how off handsy your team is.. that is stupid. But then again, this isn't a perfect simulation.

I'm not bitter or anything, just felt I had a better team. Which means nothing.

I really, at this point, honestly think I'm done and will just sell off everybody. Either farm it up or go with 3 sick trainees and a bunch of nobodys.. hibernate for 5 seasons when I quit for good.

Been good knowing ya'll, take care and stay healthy.

Of course I have a chance. I was actually up by 12 in the third quarter with his big fouled out and a back up injured...and I walked away from the computer thinking it was over and was about to pound the ball inside for an easy win. The fourth quarter came around and his motion offense started getting slam dunks and made well over 50% of his shots in that quarter while I turned the ball over every other possession and shot less then 20% to give away the game that looked like an easy win. He still hasn't lost at home, but I haven't either. I should be a close game tonight and hopefully I can force game 3. His lack of inside depth should be a problem, but it turned out to spark a massive run that won the game for him last time, so we shall see.

I think your PCT may have just ended all of your chances barring a miracle. TBH I don't agree w/ going PCT in game two when your on the road. I think it virtually makes game 3 unwinnable. Still though best of luck I hope you lose by 1 to get Walker outa here.
