Thats true, last draft there were 2 top contenders. i drafted one with the 5th pick and Bodes (i think) got the other with the 12th pick, so it is indeed possible, i just dunno if it's worth spending all my points this season... If I promote by bot cleanup or whatever it's called, I'll finish at the bottom of the table next season and would have a top pick...


Yeah, but in D. IV there are more active managers to contend with... And, wouldn't it be better to have a great draft pick to either train alongside Prather? or to sell for good $ so that you can supplement a team that will keep you from relegating?

Thats a very good pt. maybe Ill go after the prospects this yr then... It would have to be MVP+ cuz below that I already have and would be a waste of tons of cash inscouting...

Ya, I dont wanna be here next season, really hoping to promote, we'll c... I wasnt talking about going back to D5 necessarily, but no matter what if we promote we'll have a bad record by the end of the season... Either way LBJ made a really good pt, Ima invest these pts

o, trying a steal like Bodes, I want P. Allstsar+ otherwise as you said, it'd be a waste of tons of cash in scouting, I'd go with 10k scouting a week, playoff time do 3 pts. But I don't wanna end up with some stupid starter or I'll be pissed.........after all looks like Ima have the last pick anyways, unless I TIE my reamaining games and be a road warrior like I was lasts season.......in the playoffs. But I want homecourt to get the cash. to make profit. Calculated and I'd only get 60k! From my arena in revenue at home, and away, 30k or less! Really hurts! But if I end up with a P. Allstar+ and hopefully a SF, PF, or C, it'll be fun! But problem is if the teams ahead of us in the draft get the good ones:( Hopefully it'l be a stacked draft, like in the NBA when LeBron cam out with the others. You should hopefully deal with a superstar or P.Allstar right? That ain't a waste. But hopefully there are 3+ great guys. Wish us luck.

Ya, would be nice to get a stacked draft. With Bodes, DDD, 76rrrs and the 2 of us, wont be easy to get a steal, but we'll try... PA would still not make me too happy, I got tons of PAs this season for super cheap on the market, so to spend 100-150k for a PA would not be good...

True, but if I buy an american with high potential, its about the same as drafting, right?

Also, my overall merch is about 4k below the avg of my league cuz I only have 3-4 americans, butt 4k is fine, I dont give a damn, Ill rather have a better team anyway...

w0wMan, I am in the run (for the moment anyways) in spying on two guards. one I really want cause he's an American hint hint:: he's a 32ker that'll gurantee me promotion this season and the other well hint hint:: He's 35 and will gurantee me promotion too.

Damn dude, how do u have money? Im still negative til next home game, it sux... I spent all my money on my arena, so should bring in an extra 20k next home game... Still tho, wont be able to sign anyone else this season...

Negative, according to everything I read, merchandise is always better from home drafted players than guys you get from TL

hmmm, going for someone off the TL, if I don't get 1 before the financial update, Ima just put my cash to build 3 lux boxes, and get to 8. And sell out them and try to build to 10 before hopefully out-right promotion, hey let me see my enth.
