Yes, they have a pretty solid line-up. Curry should be right. He rolls his ankle every second game.

Well its not official but trade has happened.

Rudy Gay to Toronto, Jose Calderon to Memphis who will send him to Detroit for Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye. I guess other websites will have more info later, this was from Yahoo Sports.

More posturing for salary purposes for both short and longterm tax reason for Memphis. Also Colangelo has said Toronto aren't done dealing yet so it will be interesting to see if they move Bargnani for another big or pick given their pick this year is with OKC

I'd just like to mention, With Lindsey Hunter in charge, Michael Beasley seems to be playing more of the PF position (J O'neal is out), and has been putting up good numbers! Including 27 points V the lakers! Remember, he comes off hte bench as welL!

LOL defensive beast Linsay Hunter must be doing something right to beat the Lakers.

I really thought Beasley could turn his career around with the contract the Suns gave him, but he has been nothing but disappointment so far.

The Pelicans are so much better with Eric Gordon (could've been a Sun), Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson and even Austin Rivers. But their most consistent player is Greivis Vasquez.

^^ AHAHAHHAHA, so true. I saw Kobe pass to Pau when Kobe had a wide open lane to the basket.... BUT NOOOOO, he just waits for pau to catch up and gives it off to him... Now the KOBE I know does not, will not, ever do that!

I cant see this Kobe lasting the whole remainder of the season, he shot 8-22 today and only had 5 assists, the lakers still won but i can see when games go to the wire or even tight late in the fourth his natural game will take over which is to score. Look out if he continues to land near triple doubles each night though!

The GM of Lakers should be fired. Not the coaches... they can only do so much with the pieces they have.

One of the most creative PG in the game is forced to score.
One of the most ferocious scorers has to refine his game to facilitate.

Seems like the problem with the Lakers this season is not Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol, but in how well Nash plays alongside Kobe.

If the Lakers ever do make the PO this season, this strategy could work to their advantage, cos Nash will have fresh legs in the PO since he is not handling the ball as much now.
