Well i'm gonna get in early and say good luck to all in teams competing in the finals, may be the best team win. Also good luck to those teams battling to avoid relegation and to those unlucky enough to fall short, hopefully we will see you again soon.

I will be flying out to Thailand on Sunday for 11 sensational days of tropical weather! Not sure how I will set my team during that period but I'll be training stamina so i'm not really too fussed.

Catch you all back in time for the really important finals series!

Guys there was a lot of talk on last seasons forum about how you were all going to follow the Whitebeard/HA model whereby you buy up players after the all stars game and get a promotion to the ABBL.

Did anyone follow the model or did my near death experience with bankruptcy put you all of ?

Thought Beechy might of spent his millions on a couple of beasts but I guess this gives the Smeltztroopers a chance

Due to my non existant source of income, ive resorted to lobbying the others to simply let me win and as can be seen wit the aussie's its been at least a lil bit successful hahah

I do too, but if GS situations were reversed I would think I would have a shot. 9 of his top 10 are proficient. I have probably my worst GS for the season. Not horrible minutes for my guards 48, 58 and 77 and all three dropped in GS. Bad timing.

Lobbying or gamesmanship was certainly something which I did last season in the lead up to the finals.

I perhaps exaggerated my financial capabilites with talk that I was also looking for another player, when in reality I was sitting on a time bomb called bankruptcy.

Mind you to be able to afford the spending spree I first sold off a heap of good players to get the coin

Yes starting PF out with injury. Starting SF still unplayable due to GS not getting back up fast enough after the injury. Now starting PG, starting SG and replacement SF all get good minutes and all drop in GS. The nice thing is all this bad luck happening in the one season hopefully I have gotten it out of the way. The bad thing is I actually had an expensive and deep roster to have a shot at the title and now I wish it had been much, much cheaper and I had an extra $2,000,000 in the bank.
