I, for one, think your coach is doing a great job and deserves a pay raise.

Well then. You've almost got a team now. How scary are you going to get?

and you're only 1 $2k scrub away from having the highest payroll in the entire NBBA!!!
(though to be honest your team was much easier to root for before you joined the big spenders club. & would have been a great story if that pre-acquisition team went on to win 20 games + the title.)

lol, it's like he ponders, "what is the dumbest possible move i can make?"... then does it. every time too. while your coach actually did smart things like pulling centers in favor of extra shooters.

4 0:10 75 — 79 T. Alas (H) brought in for J. Ciaputa (H) at SF.

like, what kind of move is this out of a timeout with a 4 pt lead & 10 secs left??? after getting burned by the same move *twice* mere seconds earlier. Hey, let's keep bringing in a far worse perimeter defender that's also a worse ball handler when trying to run out the clock & defend 3s! (& offense ability doesn't remotely matter since I'll be fouled intentionally anyway.)

Love all the games where my coach puts in Rabbani and / or my $12k SF at SG late trying to defend 3s too.

You should both play the same exact lineups for the two games so we can see how variable the game engine is. You'll probably have to train gameshape too so as to reduce the relative delta there, and maybe mutual normal to keep enthusiasm similar.

Well you got your wish more or less. I was probably going to throw this last game if not for curiosity.
Now give me your breakdown!

just glad there was no 38 point quarter this game. held him to under 20 points the first 3 quarters + the first 11 min of the 4th.

Well I'm doing the usual all star break roster shuffling, so I'm going to sell a few guys. I'm not going to lie, it's also an experiment in extremes. I already had an efficient offense, and I'm wondering how much better o-flow would help it. It obviously won't hurt. But when you're already scoring at a high rate, would increasing the o-flow for an extra 200k a week just not be worth it if there are big diminishing returns?

scary enough to avoid relegation, id love that 5 spot but its a longshot. kinda hard to win playing a 200k center at PG for 1 game and backup in another

When we return to conference play, the Great 8 should be pretty damned interesting with teams trying to improve positioning. They're all so close and they have no idea what to expect from any of the Big 8 relegation representatives.

This is the fun part of being in the NBBA, especially since I'm not involved. I get to sit back and hope some juicy subplot unfolds.

I really fluffed up my strategy for this season. I was going to go for it like every other season, and therefore finish strongly in 6th (maybe 4th! woo!) but i knew my team was never going to compete with its structure. Was thinking i'd gradually fade the useless players out but...

I thought i could be cheeky when i saw all those Big 8 tankers and tried to sell off my team, only not to commit to it well enough (still stuck with Owens) and then realize that there was one less team tanking than i thought. This has led to me making 0 extra cash whilst costing me my NBBA spot (well, 80% chance). I'm not really bothered as I've been super bored anyway, but getting relegated anyway, I really wish I'd tanked from game 1! Maybe saved a few extra million. lol

Rant over. :D

Oh, almost forgot my desperate attempt to beat BM and CTB this week to give myself more time to re-jig. That was a flop! lol

Yeah, there's a fine line with the tanking madness, and the process of figuring out where that line is would give me a headache.

I see Owens has a bid, so you're committed now I guess.

yeah, the loss to BM forced my hand, might still try and put together a team for the RL POs but it's unlikely. :)
