Senegal is our last opponent for this phase of the consolation tournament. We are not mathematically qualified to the next stage given a record of 5-2. However it's rather unlikely that we'd be out even if we lost this match.

That said, we are not gonna lose. We are gonna win and I'll try to win big. As big as possible in fact... Reason being that I'd like to be on the top half of the table (first 16) for the next stage. Unless the rules have changed, that should give us HCA on the first match. Unfortunately that is going to be tough... But you'll never know!

The teams which are potentially qualifying are all well within our league. It should be an interesting couple of matches!

Incidentally Christopher MacBurie (5150521) is up for grabs. His salary is up there, but if you want a monster, that's your pick!

The match against Senegal went well. (7925) 99-44, we jumped a few positions. Unfortunately still on the wrong side of the table: we ended up 18th.

Our next opponent should be Nederland. A toughie. We'll see what we can do...

Actually I was wrong. We are playing Bosna i Hercegovina on Monday!

I have played Bosna i Hercegovina a couple of times already:

(7009)

With a 1-1 record. We lost the scrimmage and won the Tournament match. The scrimmage was a bit experimental though.

In the match we won we put more enthusiam in it than they did. And we were playing @ home. Now we play away.

Obiously this is a tough assignment for both teams. It can go either way. We'll do out best!!

If I'm not mistaken again, the winner of this match will face either Srbija or Suomi.

We won the match 116-115 (8154)

We played harder and it payed off... Barely... So far we are the only team without HCA to go through, so there is something to be proud of right there...

Next match should be against Srbija

Our next opponent is Srbija, a bigger nation than England in BB terms.

They had a very successful campaign in this tournament and qualified as 2nd on the table with no losses. They are obviously a very tough customer and the favourite in the match. They have HCA as well.

In short it doesn't look good :(

Still. As you very well know in this game you can never tell!

They have some monster centers, typical. We'll see what we can do.

If you have a NT player in your team could you please consider training Game shape this week? I know it's a lot to ask, but it would help. If not that can you please take care of his game shape? The cup is over after all...

Hello from Bosnia. England is a big country, they played CT in the first match of DE, that wouldn't do a beginner. Bad job my friend, really bad, i had a better tactic, and better statistic. Shame Now you play again Serbia, a country behind my, they will defeat you easy because your entusiasam is too low

Not to be polemic. But we did win the match, we would have lost for sure had I played otherwise. Result is we live to fight another day and you don't... Hardly a bad deal...

You do what you need to do with what you have... Our teams are really close in performance and you had HCA...

I don't see the point to your post at all apart from allowing you to vent some anger. Our coach weighed up the likeliness of winning or losing the match and felt he had better play CT to improve our chances. It seems to me that decision paid off, because looking at the box score if he hadn't have played CT, he wouldn't have won. Do you really think that's a "bad job"?

"They will defeat you easy because your enthusiasm too low" Trolling of the highest order, I expect a bit more class for the national team coach.

are we not sure that response wasnt made by some portugese friends but in disguise?? it only sounds to me like someone is a bad looser...

I made the right choice to stop posting on the general forums. too many people with an "attitude" are out there...
