I'm not sure that the original list is anything but completely random.

I think you're right. I was operating on the assumption that it was not. Here's what the manual says:

Unscouted: Your scouts have provided a very rough estimate of the player's skills and potential based on the word on the streets. Expect this evaluation to be fairly inaccurate.

I understand that the unscouted rating is inaccurate. But even the vaguest scouting report should still have some correlation in how different teams view the same player. Team A's 5-star player should not be Team B's 1-star player. A scouting report with that much margin of error is of no value.

Welcome in the world of the BB draft :P

Potential: BuzzerBeater developer

Seems it's a bug and when fixed, this player will be turned into Potential: all-time great

If you ever saw Mark try to shoot a basketball, you'd know this wasn't a bug.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

He can't stay on the court because of foul trouble.

Forrest is probably the best player among the BBs, but don't tell him I admitted it.

But you have to admit that you have the star treatment from the refs among BBs ;D

You're an excellent writer. As one of the most successful drafters in Buzzerbeater history, I am right there with you on your analysis. My top choice this year was a 6'0" PF with 5 stars, A+ and 5 stars potential, but he was selected with the 5th pick (I had the 6th) and I ended up with a 6'8" kid I am going to train into the world's most expensive SF.

If you put effort into the draft system and your training, you will end up with some star players.

The draft is certainly a lot better now. I can evaluate how much teams are generally investing in draft. The weekly number per week was pretty low before the new scouting hit. It raised significantly after that (when people realized they actually need some points to get any info). Extended drafting investing period gave me just enough points to scout all 18yo's once. I picked at least third best player of the draft at the 10-th position. Well I don't know how good the 2 MVP-s were, that got drafted before my guy, but it's kind of hard to find a better all around player than my draftee. I'll post the skills here after he is sold.
Mad props to BB's for the new draft!

Wow you got such a good player. Will make a great small forward. The only bad thing is ther rebounding, and that trains very quickly anyway. Fantastic pickup!
