I was trainig OD for my PF last season. I trained with lvl 4 trainer and the player's age was 20 and height was 6'6. In total, he had 4 pops, 3 of them took 2 weeks each and the 4th pop took 3 weeks.

( ajudando a futura concorrencia hehe)

Anyway, you can train just his OD and driving and play him as a PF just in defense, but you know that a big man with this potential is not a starter for a Div I,he can be good coming from the bench maybe

if you want this,I'd say put 2 of the main skills at 11 and the other at 14+,but train the secondaries first if you really want to train him

I currently have a PF trainee like that:

Owner: BC iTeam
Weekly salary: $ 157 885
DMI: 1737400
Age: 22
Height: 6'9" / 206 cm
Potential: MVP
Game Shape: proficient
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: inept
Driving: average Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: marvelous Inside Def.: marvelous
Rebounding: stupendous Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: inept Free Throw: respectable

I want to make him a top class PF who plays in the national team, so any ideas what to do with him?

A full season of Passing training and then a full season of 1-1 and Jump Shot training. Then if you can afford to improve his ID some more (I assume his IS will pop with the 1-1 training)

By early 25yo if he can get 6 JS pops, 6 HD, 6 DR & 6 PA, maybe 1-2 more IS you'll have your beast.

Thank you for the tips, I made a training plan according to your tips and it doesn't seem very unrealistic that I will be able to make this beast, but training the passing skill will be hard because I am in the second league and fighting to get into the champioship:)

Careful with training IS and ID because the salary could sky rocket and you would have to sell him in that case.

Yeah - not easy but as pmfg10 says... more core skills and he becomes a burden for you..... naturally do what you need to do in the league but when the opportunity arises try squeeze in as much JS/PA as you can...

Could you sneak in playing him at PG/SG in offense and C as defense?

I am doing well financially and I could survive another season in the second league and I wont train the core skills before I have completed the outside skills. Have no problem with training JS, playing him at PF, but I am thinking to play him as a C substitute in the league and give all 48 minutes on PG in scrimmages.

Well as you know - big man training from the position your guy is in right now is detrimental to the value if you ever want to resale. Sure he will always improve your team ratings and strength but the expense per RB/ID/IS pop now is tough to calculate. He isn't far off of Division 1 standard and it might be nice to pace out his future pops so you dont suffer the wage spike from next season.

I think that there is no clear cut right or wrong decision right now. He is nicely trained and poised to become better. You need to decide how committed you are financially to him and for how long and then do whats best for your team.
