My PG still isn't back from his 2 week injury and now my C is out for 2 weeks as well. It sucks but that is basketball.

I think adding a more specific injury system could help.

For example, when a player gets injured, the game should specify the exact injury (broken toe, pulled hamstring, etc) and let the manager decide if he wants to play the player. A lot of NBA players still play when they get injured. Perhaps temporarily decreasing the injured players' efficiency and abilities in game would make it more realistic and give managers more control to their team, then when the player recovers, everything will go back to normal. For such injuries such as a broken arm, obviously a player wont be able to play, but a sore finger most likely won't keep a good player off the court (might negatively affect his jumpshot though ;] )

first of all we won't get such a decision live, and after the game it would make less sense. An overall i think te player decide if they play, and they had a doctor with taping quality if we compare it to BB.

when you say, player A will play the whole game instead of taking care of his health, and the game is already finished. The command would come a bit late.

i didnt say that. I said for future games. Thats what people are complaining about, that injured players miss weeks and weks of games.

As long as no one is injured on MY TEAm though I definitely like the feature LOL.

I used to laugh when my opponents had serious injuries in key players.

The least I can say is that you won't laugh when it happens with your team. And it will happen, sooner or later. Probably just before the league finals, or before a B3 key match. And, then, I hope you could deal with it and still be able to laugh.

Maybe people should look to invest more in a higher doctor so they don't miss weeks and weeks of games. Maybe instead of a 4 week injury, you would only get a 2 week injury with a higher doc.
