A Heat/Mavs finals could be very compelling if Butler and Beaubois are both healthy. The Mavs can guard the Heat better than anybody already, but Butler would only add to their advantage in that regard. They also have a much better coach.

I still think the Mavs will win. They look very strong against the Lakers.

I disagree completely. I think the Mavs look strong because LA's playing awfully.

In the last three seasons only 3 teams in the NBA have advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs in all three years. We know the Lakers and the Celtics are two of them, can anyone name the 3rd team? (without looking it up)

mmm...Atlanta? I'm going by process of elimination.
And it looks like Dirk has taken up the challenge. Aided by Chandler, Barea, etc.

I'll concur with Atlanta...
LA... sheesh, what a mess at the moment. At least Kobe's confident, but they need to stay with the plan: get the ball into Bynum, he at least is torching them - but the 4th Q they moved away from that.
Pau Gasol, obviously SOMETHING is up, because he's not the same player he normally is.
And Dwyane Wade's hip-throw on Rondo... what do you guys think?

I don't think Wade's a thug, but that was a thug play.

I think Atlanta's experience has kept them relevant in the playoffs, probably the one true advantage they have over the Bulls.
LA, just dont get swept, geez. You can really tell which team wants it more so far. I have always been a big fan of Dirks and it is nice to see some fire from that team in the playoffs. Just wish it wasnt against the Lakers.

That... was ugly. I really hope this isn't the player Andrew Bynum's becoming.
