What will happen in case of a salary-cap?

It is not always more wisely to spend on fewer salary, when you make a bigger initial investment(+ a bigger decline in player value).
With a salary cap it would be the way to go, so those salary optimated player get more expensiv and people who buy championship today will also do it in the future.

We will start at the end.
1) You ADMITTED that the case is there - richer teams are buying their championship!!!
They will always be richer, as they joined earlier than others. [At least until they will leave the game]

2) The richer teams could do that today as well, so this rule didn't changed anything about that.

3) If it will change, and those teams will fight over those players, they will basically pay much more (as those players value will rise to the roof) for less.
Guess what does that means about their money dominance in the future...

4) There is a salary-cap in the NBA, and on other leagues, and it works.
Without it, the Knicks would have been to the final every season.

The problem with the less competivness as you call it is also a artefact from the past, and is solving itself atm.

Do you mean as it is on YOUR league?
Where the order of team (last time I've checked), was exactly upon order of joining the game!!!

Also i doubt, that a online game, with very limited possibilities of interaction will have a future with your weird merging of nations. Even if i overall agree, that merging some nations together will help a lot, but this should be done with looking at languages, tip off times etc. that you could interact with your league mates and your "BB-nation".

No one said that those BB-nations will be created with no thought.
There BB-nation will be created uopn language, areas etc.
On current state, loosing the few BB-nations with those 10-20 users is such a law risk, that not taking action is just a mistake (I wanted to use a more proper word, but it is not proper to the forum...).
Not acting is an action of doing nothing and observing the deterioration in process...

I don't like the thread that much, since it brings nothing new and just makes it necessary to explain stuff the X time.

This thread was designed to be the platform for users to share their opinion about what prevents the game from growing, and what is the main things that can be done in order of assisting it to grow.

It is a dissappointment, although not a real amazement, to see that there was not a single suggestion about that from all the other users who wrote here (GMs, LAs, and others).

1.) not necessarily older teams, the fund of the older team are mostly dead, and the inbalance in the income was a problem till season 12-14 where you could earn a lot in the top stage, and simply had problems to invest that money.

2.) yeah but at least building around a cheap salary monster, to stay in the division and finish strong was sued sometimes by the teams in our league to get to the honey pot(PO, more visitors next season, but normally you pay more for it then what you get back).

3.) as i said, it will change the value of the player, and punsih team who acted smart under the current system that way, and punish manager for a decision who was smart under the system before or give then additional cash cause they played the game the "pini" way. Is that smart managing, that is random managing and betting on system changes in one favour.

4.) show me one with relegation systems :) And it only works for the NBA since they are so far above the other BB league on a economicall standpoint, that the market is more or less closed.

This is why France, Spain and Italy have not a single team at the first division who joined later than season-4...
This is why last time I've checked your league, I saw it order EXACTLY upon joining order...

The fact is still there - they can do it today.
Not doing so today mean that it does not worth it, or that they cannot do it.

Every time that you have no answer, I see your claims being hard to understand.
In the end - those richer will need to pay more, and hence loose that advantage.
Those that are not smart getting those same players today, will not be smart when this salary-cap will be added.
And again - fact is, the salary-cap on the NBA, and on other leagues, WORKS.

It works in the NFL as well, and on any leagues that this rule is imposed at.
Show me why it will not work on a league with a relegation system.
You could use this arguemnet, when the 24 seconds had been only on the NBA, just as much.
As we know, this arguement is irrelevant to the 24-seconds clock just as well.

normally i would closed that one, since there is a way to discuss suggestion to make the game better(that what it is about here, or the how can i repost my suggestion again and again) on a way you see from outside what it is and don't have different topic. If i would see that topic at the begin, i would closed it for double posting and when it wouldn't be double post i would say open/use thread like "salary cap". Cause when i see this, it sounds more like discuss how we could improve the advertising for the game.

Again - this thread allows any user to point what is blocking this game from growing, and how it could be managed.
Instead of suggesting practically nothing, and trying to instilling fear of closing it - just give a SINGLE point of yours...
