Bballin,

WHEN you are elected again and take your position as the rightful manager of the U21 team. I would like to know how you plan on using specific players, specifically and selfishly Bengley? Also how would you like to see him trained thru the season to be of the best value to the team?

Whoever is elected, is there a plan to involve div3 and div4 players into training at least their best trainee?
I mean, how many of you have been contacted when he joined the game to try and help him out? I never was, I had to find it all on my own and that could have avoided a lot a mistakes.
I know that the majority of newcomers won't even respond, but if only a few respond and train their best draftee, then there will be a lot more good player in U21, and on the NT roster afterwards.
It's a lot of work, especially because one need to check div3 and div4 quite often for new teams during the season, but I really think that if we can make them feel part of Canada, it will be a real goodleap forward for all of us

Well I think the debate is likely just a formality, but I am curious to hear the candidates thoughts on this years addition?

What offence and defence will you play and why? Who will be your starting SF? and where does Bengley fall in the mix?

Cheers

I was actually thinking of cutting him... ;) Nahhh. To be quite honest this years team(just like last seasons) lacks any great guards or any real PGs or real SGs. Its basically just a bunch of guards that can do a wee bit of everythin, but can't do certain things great. They are balanced, which is not bad, but other countries have players who are balanced with my 10 more skill points. It is not a good formula right now and that is something ill look into. Begley*(I have never seen you spell his name right, are you always drunk? or just getting a little old? ;) ) is probably the top guard on the team. Either him, Benyo or Manseau. He would probably be used at the PG position since Benyo has good IS too be able to play SG. If Begley has proficient GS. He starts. If he has strong GS, he most likely starts. If he has respectable GS, he could still start.

Also how would you like to see him trained thru the season to be of the best value to the team?

Well since he would be used as a PG for the season, it would probably be more beneficial for him to be trained more as a PG.

As stated in my speech there is a plan set in motion to have scouts at for every age group. So if there is a newer manager with a Canadian Prospect he will be contacted by a scout, who will layout what he will have to do to get the prospect on the team. Propose a training plan, suggest the offsite forum and link him to BB Canadas forum.

ALSO, there already is a Mentor thread in this forum that is stickied. So if someone posts in there, I will find them a mentor. Plain and simple.

ALSO, if people would like to get more involved there is thread which is also stickied called, "Canada Needs You". There are bunches of way to get involved and helped right off the bat. The only thing more I could do is post and sticky a Welcome thread in every single league forum in Canada, with links to the offsite, mentor thread and BB Canada in general. Which I just might do.

Im confused.

This really depends on GS, injuries and opponent. I could get more into a go to plan, but if you go to the current roster and sort by salary you will get a good idea of what offense/defense will most likely be played.

Who will be your starting SF?

Right now are only legitimate SF is Bradshaw. The order for SF options right now would be: Bradshaw(being as close to a true SF as we have), MacDiarmid and then McNamee.

and where does Bengley fall in the mix?

Starting PG. Done deal.

Wow, my grammar is ugly as of late. I wish I was drunk...But instead I am checking in from my phone while waiting to board a flight.

Yep, I agree. Just hoping to get a bit of conversation going. This years election is a slam dunk. Perhaps we should start a poll to see how big of a lead you really have?
