Foul machines are terrible. I had a guy that fouled like crazy. He taught me not to have those kind of players EVER again.

In season 17, he set a record with fouling out after just 11 minutes and that was the moment I snapped and sold him.

hello, i have 2 questions:

1. on which day is the draft?
if the draft is on monday, is there any point in investing in the draft this week?
or is it possible to use the points invested in this week next monday preceeding the draft
i have ran out of scouting points and could really use some.

2. my second question is what should i choose. i wound up with the second pick in the draft and the first team to pick is a bot so i'm free to choose whatever. after investing in combine and interviewing the top 4 draftees i came up with 2 player and don;t know what to choose.
player A rating 5 star, potential unknown, 18year, C, 6'10; 40 min 2/11FG 1/2 3FG 2 RB, 2 ast, 7 TO 2 STL 4 blk 4 fouls
player B rating 4 star, potential 3 balls ,18 year SF, 6'7, 40 min 7/16 FG, 2/2 3FG, 2RB, 3 ast, 1TO, 1 STL 4blk, 0 fouls

the point is that B is more skilled but lacks potential, whereas player A is weird (low FG for center, also fouls and turns the ball over, but he may be with bigger potential)

what would you choose?
will i be able to obtain draft points after this sunday and get to use them in this draft?

1. You won't be able to spend draft points acquired next week on the draft as draft picks are locked on sunday.

2. Box scores shouldn't be used to pick a draftee in the first place, firstable you must think in terms of star rating and potential (potential first)

2. given that i know only one players potential, from a personal stand point, should one gamble on the player with the unknown potential given the star rating? for the one with limited potential, do these specific stats make a case for drafting him?
i incline to take the one with the so and so potential because for a SF with all around skills potential might not be a big drawback

any other impressions?

I really don't know, you could lose big if you pick the 5 ball one and he ends up being 6th man, but say he's HoF and that's Jackpot for you. It's either safety and you pick the 4/3 guy or gambling and you pick the other one

1. draftees should arrive next tuesday
2. I'd choose player B. Here's why... His 4 stars vs. 5 stars is nothing to worry about. It's a small difference when they start training. Potential 3 is minimum allstar so you'll be able to train him at least 3 seasons. So I wouldn't call 3 ball potential low. Next, the boxscore is absolutely better on player B. Notice bad shooting of player A and his 7 turnovers. One more thing in the boxscore - fouling. Player B - 0 fouls, player A - 4 fouls (both in 40 minutes). You won't have problems with training and giving adequate minutes to player B.

I really hope player's B skills are very high because that would justify the lack of high potential. in all it's a SF, not a big man, so allstar potential might be just enough.

3 ball potential could end up with star or allstar potential. Both could be enough depending on what kind of player you want to train. Honestly, star is the bare min. I have trained a starter before and he topped out after a few seasons.

Why do they play 40 mins in that game? My draftees played 25 -30 mins. What does that mean? A hint for their stamina?

BTW, both TO and fouls are negative stuff, in case that player A have more fouls than player B, while player B have more TO than player A, which one would you choose? I always choose the player having less foul, as TO could be improved by training handling, am I correct?
