I have a question for you, and I don't mean it in a mean way, but I do tend to struggle with sounding polite or diplomatic in text form.

If you are intent on hiding your former player ID and team name, then that makes me think there has to be a reason for it. And based on that I'm not sure if you deserve any respect at all. People don't hide their true identity because they were once a positive part of something, they hide it coz there's something they need to keep hidden.
If you think hiding this gives you some sort of strategic edge, well it doesn't. BB is a numbers game, not a personality game.

If you are planning on revealing who you are, then good.. if not.. poor form.
(and because I said there was a question) Which is it?

Puffy Inch?

Fashion Victims
Trend Setter and his incredibly good looking mob are back for a second run at Div II.3. Ironically, if you sort his roster by Salary, it also is sorted by their attractiveness (what can i say, i like a bit of chocolate) - Could be a bit of a smokey as we remember him tanking last time he was in this league - Has a solid starting 5, but his bench is about as attractive as my sack after sleeping on it wrong, so wait n see what this dude does, particularly early if he wants cup dosh.

Isn't that called Batwing? Where your sack stretches out and sticks to your thigh.

anyways.. My team is almost as I'll leave it for the season. Just 1 more player to find and acquire.
Maybe a very familiar Aussie BB name to join our league. :)

When was I hiding anything? No one asked what my former team was and I didn't name it.

It was the Dingleton Dingers http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/38778/history.aspx

I really appreciate all this unprovoked scrutinising. You will have one less person participating in the forums this season, good day.

I did say I wasn't meaning any offence, it all just seemed a bit cloak and dagger.

I do apologise if you've taken it the wrong way. You could have treated it as a discussion point instead of an attack, which it definitely wasn't.

oh well.

Hey I promoted out of d2 with a starting 50k sg, 30k sf and 40k c. salaries are meaningless.

I think Team Akuma promoted out of Div II with a $500k starting 5 salary.

I dont think salaries are meaningless, they arent as meaningful as what they used to be thats for sure........ In the end, a $40k C will only ever have a max set of key stats and regardless of his secondaries, basic assumptions can be made about the player and his skill set.

besides, Ive gotta pick on something right? Its not like i can ask the guy for his player's stats and then go from there. Salary is all i got man!

it was more like 800k i think
i only had 7 real players, total salary was around 1.1 mil
that was only during the playoffs though
for most of the season i think my total salary was around 500 - 600k

ridiculous i know
but the satisfaction of beating Sid made it all worthwhile :)

Sorry if you feel attacked I did not mean it to come across that way. I don't want to name the person I thought you were the reincarnation of but lets just say it was someone very, very high profile, but obviously not Crazy Australian because you got out of Division IV.

I hope this scrutinising hasn't soured you I just wasnt a big fan of who I (wrongly) thought you were. You have done a great job. These days the number of teams that go IV, III, II is very limited and it wouldn't surprise me if you are the youngest division II team. You are obviously a very good manager so don't let the fact that we like to have a close look at anyone that does so well put you off. You should take it as a form of praise. You have done such a great job it really makes you stick out.

So what is your plan this season? Aim for promotion to the ABBL. Aim to compete and make the playoffs. Bank a big pile of money. Tank, bank a massive pile of money and relegate. Focus on the training of your three trainees. Keep your cards close to your chest and give nothing away.

I have made a move early in the ABBL and probably have the top or second top salaries. I plan to compete for the title but up here there are always a few others willing to take a shot and with Whitebeard out of the picture I imagine there will be lots who have been waiting their chance.
