I believe currently it just uses the salary at the time you purchase a player.

I have 2 players (one who is 34 and another who is 32) who I would have sentimentally held onto as they slid into their old age, but I wont be able to now.

Yes, but it's an exemption. I really doubt that it can go negative, that would be stupid.

For example, if you weren't training and your vets dropped in salary, you have training exemption -30k? I just don't think so, but BBs should confirm, since the given explanation is controversial.

The only thing I'm terrified about is that it's a huge change, and we never heard anything of this nature before.

And I still think promotion just became very difficult

Just look a post before yours

Thank you for your quick answer.

So for instance my player Quincy Riviera who I have had for a few seasons and is aged 32 and currently has a salary of 108K.

So you are saying that his salary wont continue to be calculated out at a 108K in a few seasons time when it drops to 50K?

So essentially it is the players salary at the time you purchase them or their current salary - Which ever is the cheaper

is this correct?

About promotion don't forget that you are calling to fight against teams which are playing under the same rules as you so why this rule makes promotion more difficult?

because once I promote I need to pay this tax if I want to stay in that league. Leagues 3 and 4 not so much but promotion to 1 and 2 has always been like this. If you don't adjust with some new overpaid players you relegate. And you cannot do that by paying this tax. This is my view

IMO, until a team is on National cup, tax shold take care of it. That 50k for every stagewin are still a weekly gain.

Exactly my point, lets say I have balance -40k, that means that after cup game I have profit of 10K, and know I will have -20K instead.
