That's the plan. I figure it will take about half a season, but I'm willing to sacrifice that time.

OD: 5 - HA: 1
DR: 5 - PA: 7

well after looking through These Posts here, i reckon my fears have come true.

Some, more to say, very very few Teams got real lucky with their Trainees, some even did get two of them. Most of the Team got virtually nothing - and therefore it´s a real unfair start for all the Teams, cause some have a real nice boost start, most don´t have.

I think this is sad, because it doesn´t lead to more fun in the game.....

There is a bit a randomness in the game - it happens. In 3 months time, someone will probably have freshly drafted a 4K+ 18yo hall of famer, which will be a bigger boost that what any of the teams that have posted here have got!

Over the course of time, it will even out, and the best managers will rise to the top.

If you look at it from another angle. If you dont have trainees you wont need to waste money on a trainer and can expand your arena and/or buy some better players that will help you reach success faster.
If you only look at the starting roster and training potential sure things can be unfair. But who says you need to train players right away to be successful?

Exactly

well, this other angle means also, that i have to buy a complete new Team, with about 8 or 7 Players. I have nobody to Train. The market Prices are going through the Roof, as expected, sorry, but that is not the Kind of competitiveness which i like to have. These Players who get this headstart have a huge Advantage, a will probably promote this season, which means a lot more Money next season etc....

I just would have liked to have a Balance between the starting Player which is more balanced- i have proposed an idea some weeks ago, but no Response....

Well your missing one point here. Everyone has the same kind of roster so you wont need 7-8 new players. You can get 2-3 specialists and that probably will do just fine.

well, that´s the Point i´m trying to tell you - this is simply not true. ok, fair enough, everyone has to deal with it, but that some Managers do have 2 hall of famer, 18 years old, is simply not the same Kind of roster . we´ll see how it will develop ;-).
