We should open a poll on how many people trust us to win a trophy in football within our lifetime. Without illegal goals and refereeing help.

I mean everybody knows: these days nothing's certain but death, taxes, aliens, playing bots in the first round of the Cup and the English football failures. Sad, but true.

I entertained the idea of buying Grierson or whatever the name was, but then someone bid 4.4m and frankly better big men have gone for less these days. Never fails to amaze me how people overpay for English players. Maybe they see us as a micronation. Also paying 4m+ for 200k+ salary players is madness.

How many players do we have that are actually NT calibre? What about the next generation as it were? Are there enough players coming through in all positions?

Maybe Vecx can try to do some kind of depth chart as he used to do in the past (I think). We're not a big BB nation, so the pool of 24+ year old players must be reasonably limited. It will require some effort after the election is over.

it was more that the auction ended at 4am and the guy just overpaid so that he didn't have to show up at the time.
