Elastics could be compensated in the 20 yo training season and what you refer to as "losing rhythm" is just the way that we are accustomed to doing it right now. We would still get those fast initial OD pops and those ID cross-pops, just a little later in time and that would be compensated by the higher initial levels of the 19 yo trainee to a great extent. however is what I was referring to and this is a
huge reason why the 19 y.o. would be the worse pick. It would cripple his max build and with the speed of training right now - that's what matters the most.
