Why would you leave the reserve spots empty? Managers need that merchandise. A starter gets the same NT merchandise as a reserve. But if a player isn't chosen for the game, he gets 0 NT merchandise.
My policy for my reserves is this; most pops the last training and one player from a Japanese team.

I totally agree with you.
For this first game it's just an oversight, I will be more vigilant the next few weeks.
My choices will be based on the game shape of the week and the level of the players, with priority to players playing in Japanese teams

Your remark was relevant, on the contrary, it is important to motivate managers to train Japanese Players.

I recently became aware of this fact by reading this information on the discussion board. Before that, I believed that any selected player had an impact on merchandise.

So, from now on, there will always be 12 players on the sheet for each match
