The problem is that we feel that not updating salaries midseason will cause some teams to be unable to plan ahead properly, because the game is young enough that it's not yet known by anybody but us how salaries will scale for higher-level players. So it's a question of whether teams would prefer to have to consider making midseason adjustments or whether teams would prefer to be unable to plan ahead until the offseason - both are bad, but we think this one is not quite as bad as the other.

Fair enough. That's an honest answer.

Is it conceivable that at some point when the game is more "established" that the post season wage increase will be the only one?? Which is the more realistic, understanding that realism isn't a necessity, especially where a mockonomy is concerned....

according to the news, players with > 4500 will be released, and this is to take place immediately.

Nevertheless, I see in my category a team that has become bot (Titans I.1 Greece,) with 2 such players still on its roster. Shouldn't they also be released?

concerning this part

5) Stamina will now decrease during weeks when a player plays too few minutes and during injuries, so as to encourage teams to regularly train it rather than just doing so once.

I think that it would be fairer and more logic that "game shape" gets affected (i.e: if long injury: back to atrocious) rather than stamina.

And if you still think stamina should be the skill affected I guess there should also be a possibility to just train some positions rather than the whole team (since stamina cannot be trained after a level those players have this level will simply be waiting for the other one to catch up, without benefiting from any training)

they mean teams that turn into bots from now onward. not ones that did it in the past

i agree that double hurting a player on stamina and game shape seems unfair but it is just going to make it more challenging for us to keep our team in shape

I don't know if anybody shares my sentiments but I don't like letting these high salary players become free agents.. These players should be retired.

Only rich/top div teams can afford them - in terms of the transfer market and salary-wise.. They already have the best players, why give them more? It will just further handicap lower div teams in cup matches.

I know it's a shame to lose these good players but he y they increased the speed of training of youngsters anyway.

Exceptions could be made for NT players.. they don't become free agents but they don't retire.. the y are only in the NT and once they are released, they retire.. Yes they don't imp rove but at least it doesn't hurt the NT as much as just pulling them off the team.

Just think of it as the manager firing these players and not releasing them to the t ransfer market.

Finally, transfer market will not equalize the playing field, it wil l be training your players. Releasing these players to the TL will just further t he imbalance.

Adding to the supply of good players on the market will lower prices.

edit - relative to market inflation that is[b r]
