Thanks RiP88 - very helpful information (and makes sense as well). Not to say I will train stamina soon, but good to know ...

It's an hard fight between driving and shotblocking but the winner is....shotblocking!

I think driving is useful. One of my players before who had atrocious driving before always had a man in his face when attempting a shot.

You cant compete in high level leagues with starters below respectable stamina.

Stamina's important, no question, but I can't agree with you, speaking from direct experience. I'm carrying 4 players (3 starters, one top reserve) with awful stamina, and I'm competing just fine, IMO. I'd love to have that stamina higher, but not at any cost.

Try training stamina in the off season so you don't miss out on a week of training during the season (since there will be no minutes in the off season)?

Considering all this stamina talk, Im a bit surprised nobody said FT is the most useless skill, considering it comes into play at only certain points in a game.

If I had a choice between atrocious stamina/proficient FT or proficient stamina/atrocious FT, I would take the 2nd option all the time.

Although I understand it is necessary to have FT at a good level (which I have).

Although, no skill is really useless, some are just less important.

That sounds very good but if this was the case then we would be able to train stamina as team not just guards. As i see it handling is mostly a guard skill and not SUPPOSED to be a big man skill based on how the training is set up

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em, Know when to walk away and know when to run. You never count your money when youre sittin at the table. Therell be time enough for countin when the dealins done.

Well a few players with bad FT can "help" your team to lose the game, while same few players with bad stamina can be replaced with other players. I was wondering about FT as useless skill too, but it only took me a few seconds to reject this skill from the most useless :)

I assume you meant handling and not stamina?
