Playoffs/Relegation
Crazy's at Phantoms
All the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't fix the Crazy's problems in the end. Phantoms put this one away early. Crazy's had no gas after flooring it to get into the playoffs. Phantoms 121 Crazy's 78
Dutchmen at VD's
Nothing I can report could do this one justice. A triple OT game in the playoffs is amazing. Hutson, Gagis, and Romary came out incredible as usual and built a decent lead but the VD boys fought back putting the game into OT. Frantic shots led to a second OT and a third. Wilson picked up his entire team and placed them on his back........again. He carried them over the finish line but had that line been at the Dutchmen home he probably would not have made it. Hats off to a great Dutchmen team and congrats to VD's. Rest up Phantoms are waiting. VD's 115 Phantoms 114
Challengers at Crank Dat
211 total shots taken in this one always makes a crowd pleaser. The Challengers put everything into this game and it was evident they would need it to play against the Soulja Boys. Crank Dat put 5 in double digits and while the Challengers only had 4 in double digits but they had a more complete team effort which helped them pull off the shocker at the Crank Dat's domain. Turnovers proved to be a problem tonight for the Soulja Boys and 14 of them could have easily led to the 4 points that the Challengers won by. Congrats to Crank Dat on a sweet season and to the Challengers for proving they belong. Challengers 93 Crank Dat 89
Prov City At Blasters
Prov City had a great first half and went into the locker rooms at the half with the lead. The second half was a good half for the Prov City team but the Blasters came out hot and caught up in the 4th and more. Faeber drained 38 for Prov City but Ichaso paced him with 33 and also had 4 other teammates in double digits. In the end this one came down to turnovers again with Prov City struggling to hold on to the ball 17 turnovers were too much for Faeber and company to overcome. Blasters 113 Prov City 104
All Stars at Terrors
Terrors came out in this one with a vengeance and it paid off. Allstars had a decent game but gave up alot of points at the charity stripe. Eason was tough for the Terrors and drained 30 pts. with 10 boards and 5 assists. Allstars looked good at the half but too much Terrors in the 3rd and 4th put an end to game 1. Terrors 103 Allstars 90
Flames at NP
NP has played tough all season and looked to quench the Flames. With the addition of key players toward the end of the season this may be easier said then done. NP and Flames were close at the half but the second half belonged to the Flames and Dogra who drained 27. Dogra and the 5 other flames who were in double digits were enough in the second half to show NP whether or not they do have any potential. Flames 106 NP 83
Congrats to all winners and losers.
