I think the four teams that gets relegated is a better solution

The problem with this is that it helps none of the lower/weaker teams in improving to beat the top teams. If the top 4 good draft picks get relegated the lower teams have no chance to improve, and the newly promoted team will still get the last pick and be no better than the relegated teams.

The idea of random bottom 6 is help decrease tanking for draft picks, so a 1 in 6 chance is not as attractive as a 1 in 4 chance or with the current system finish last and you know the 1 pick is yours, also it still stop the top team getting early picks.

Tanking for draft picks is no problem, because there is quite a big chance that the number one pick is not worth more than 100-200k, sometimes even less.

Tanking for money is the problem. It seems that you will make more money tanking than training your players and that is just wrong.

Tankers make more money than winners, that's the bigest problem in tanking. #1 no doubt. So why do we let the losers tank? WHY? Cause they want to either

A. Load up with 100+k monsters to stay in the league
B. Get a chance at a great draft pick
C. Get the cash.
D. It's hard for the winners to make cash with their average-star players (by league), thus making them go in red or just making less than 10k a week.
E. To relegate, get the promotion cash+the tank cash.

All those are the problems. We can stop A by moving the deadline. We can kill B by doing the "Draft Lottery" As in the NBA. For example, this year the Bobcats were the worst team in the league. But with the lottery system, Hornets got the top pick. Listen to Maggots' idea and stop B (doing a lottery of the top six picks)
We can stop C by when they lose by 40+ points, take away their arena income. If it comes to where they don't field five guys (push the # of players on the court to 5) it's a WO and KO the TV+arena. There. That'll make em feel bad and hopefully they can feel like D. I praise D because then the top teams in a 40+pt loss get divided by the # of 40 and less losses (what I'm saying is take away arena income for the 40+point loss teams, then add it up. Divide it by the # of teams that DID compete or tried.)
Back to D. Example: 3 Teams loose by 40+ pts, let's say Team A gets 289k from arena. Team B gets 253k. And team C gets 275. Add em up.=817k. Divide that by the # of teams that DID comepte. 817 divided by 13 teams=62.8k I think. (my calculator got too many .########) I know I think this is a D3 based arena income. So 62.8k is still worthwhile in D3. D2 and D1 it's a blessing. D. is eliminated.
Elinminate E. by this; For relegation, take away 20% (1/5) of the cash they have. That should dent them there. E. Is eliminated. Got it everyone?????

All of those suggestions are worth thinking about. But I think the easiest solution to stop tanking is: reduce arena income drastically if you lose all your games with more than 50 points.
