First game with te new GE in national teams and Spain for first time in this season did 0 BLOCKS. Is thereany bug or im missing something? Because in theory with the new GE blocking had to be more important no?

Shotblocking is more important -- which doesn't automatically lead to heaps of block. I've no idea about the NT player skills, but club teams have historically ignored the development of Shot blocking to save on the salary of their centers.

what that for a curious logic? To make it more important, you had to pay even more salary for the same amount of blocks?

Even when it wasn't worthful, to raise it in the old syystem even for a small amount if you doesn' believe on the side effect in defence which only was an myth.

I don't have any concerns about how my centers have performed in the two new GE games. Either way, from a calibration point of view, world-class shotblockers average maybe 3.5 a game anyhow.

Thats right BUUUUUUUUT, a world class shot blocker will affect 4-5 shots into a game with his presence. For me a good blocker doesn't means that he get muchblocks, it is an essentiell think in defence.

For example Kirilenko, has when he is "coming out" an impressive amounts of blocks but in my eyes he wasn't a good blocker because he jumped up to much and often gives a easy basket because of this behaviour.

And when it wasn't worth to train 3 skill shot blocking for a half block, why it should reasonable to train "5" for the same amount.

Right, that is why the BBs have previously mentioned in the forums that SB is included in the determination of team's inside defenses (though it is not as important as ID).

yeah but they also said, that it doesn't affect the ID(lower the percentages of unblocked shot) and the only result of the skill if a skill is blocked or not.

This post you mean, was misleading many players.

Do you know Chris Andersen, the "Birdman" of Denver Nuggets in NBA?It's the evidence that to be a great shotblocker doen't mean to be a great player.Over what SB skills nowadays act,it could be raise to much the importance of that skill, that also in reality it's not so useful as maybe you think
