There are 5 games to go to finish the regular season and here's the summary of Day 17.
This day will be remembered as Hawks were finally defeated. Flyers end Hawks' 16 game winning streak and clean record, 130-96. "They wanted this game a lot more than we did and got a well deserved win" said Hawks coach Stephan Cline after the game, "but I won't blame anyone, we are still doing fine and we still have a great record". Flyers guard P. Adamopoulos scored 39 pts in 19 mins, and shot 70% from the field. A truly outstanding effort!
Beavers and Bangers grabbed a huge win against Illusion, 119-102. This win means post season for Bangers and might mean a good bye to 1st place for Illusion.
Holloway's 44 pts couldn't prevent Magic from losing an important game against Cleveland. Magic drop to 5th and Cleveland will fight for 2nd seed throughout the remainder of the season.
Gavno had a much needed win against Armageddons thanks to double doubles by Ryan and Chow, 96-58.
Broncos win number 4 at Chicago definitely stirs up the relegation battle in Great 8. It was a CT vs. TIE but these are times every coach should pick appropriate enths strategy, 110-123. 4 Broncos and 3 Goats scored 20+. From now on we should expect more CTs.
Tachenko not done yet and climb to 4th seed. OT loss was heart breaking but also encouraging for Traficcers, 86-91.
Investors tie records (11-6) with Illusion after beating Steppers at Charlotte, 87-93. Mays stepped up in the absence of Mina but that wasn't enough. Steppers focused on perimeter defense and steals causing 21 TO's however 66 vs 35 rbds clearly killed them.
Dutchmen 25- Pistons 0.
Player of the day, once again, Adrian Beavers of Bangers. He recorded 5th triple double of his career with 32 pts, 13 rbds and 10 dimes shooting 73% from the field.
There are 2 big games on Saturday. Gavno @ Illusion (last chance for Illusion to take over 1st seed) and Magic @ Tachenko (can be the decider for last plaoyff seed)
