I can hardly get bored with run&gun and look inside, because they are not my favourite tactics:

S11 Offense: Run and Gun 7, Princeton 4, Motion 3, Base Offense 2, Patient 1
S10 Offense: Motion 16, Push the Ball 3, Run and Gun 3, Princeton 2, Look Inside 1, Base Offense 1
S9 Offense: Motion 11, Base Offense 4, Run and Gun 3, Push the Ball 2, Look Inside 2, Princeton 2
S8 Offense: Run and Gun 8, Motion 8, Push the Ball 7, Base Offense 2, Princeton 1
S7 Offense: Motion 8, Push the Ball 6, Run and Gun 6, Base Offense 4, Look Inside 1...

(thanks to oeuftete for his prospectus tool).

This is my sixth season in the spanish first division and my worst season I made 5th position. So I don´t think playing Run&Gun and LookInside are strictly necessary to be competitive.

There are alot of Post on this one, so please forgive me if someone else has already brought this up. Push the Ball seems to be the best Tactic, most BBB Finals have been won playing this way & your coach will play to where the team is having the most success

i wouldn't sign this, pretty few of important NT matches are played this way, and i see a lot of looses by team who i see better then their opposition and playing like that.

Normally is it a strategy, where you make few faults but if you risk a bit and set your offense right you gain a bonus.

These are example of games you played this season with princeton, base offence and patient
(17958838), (19919995), (19959921).
Breathtaking!
You know better than me that when you have a tight game you almost always chose either r&g or motion, but for some reasons I do not understand you prefer to deny it.

If I complain about tactics is because after so many season I am bored of playing r&g 80% of the games and LI the other 20%. And I am bored of playing m2m another 80% of the games and 3-2 defense 20 or so %.

My post was an answer to your previous post where you seem to say that Look Inside and Run and Gun are the only options.
The last seasons I have played mainly Motion, not Run & Gun, not Look Inside, and I´m not a dead team. That is what I wanted to say.

And what about this (15519685) and this (15519593), last season?

My team last season was designed for Motion, and this season I have got better skill to play Run & Gun effectively. I am not "married" with a tactic, I play the best option for my team.

And with other spanish teams: What about this of season 9 (with the new GE): (15328404), or this (17679894), or this (17679895), or this (15519558), or this (17962076). Where is the supposed weakness of the inside focus?

None of the outside players in the losing teams have low OD, on the contrary they are good outside defenders.
You are probably talking about the OD team rating which is not directly involved in determining the match outcome. And of course, your idea would also work on the other side. The inside team OD is also making a double role: decreasing the quality of the shots taken by the outside team and preventing them to pass the ball each other. So finally, following your argument we have arrived to a nice and "unexpected" conclusion... : Inside teams need to have good outside defense to be competitive. Fantastic! ;-)

And I would add that good passing would make them much stronger towards the 3-2 zone. And if their C and PF have good passing skill, then who will stop them passing the ball each other? An outside team would need to train OD for their C and PFs?

Finally, I don´t know any "cheap" outside team. Maybe you buy players in another transfer list, because I think a good PG with a nice level of passing, jump shot, jump range and outside defense is not what I'd call "cheap".

i think OD is not as effective for stopping the outside shots compared to its effect of stopping the inside attacks.

This is the most funny thing I have heard for a long time, and clearly demonstrate that you are right.
I assume that a top team is able to pay $1M a week for the player salaries..

The most expensive team in the spanish first division costs 626k $/week and the average income is $ 694 920. So I don´t see where will you find the money to buy those "cheap" players.

Jump Shot: legendary Jump Range: sensational
Outside Def.: legendary Handling: prominent
Driving: atrocious Passing: legendary
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: atrocious

Just to buy a 18yo player able to reach these skills with training would cost you a lot. With a lot of patient you will need "a few" seasons reach those levels.
You have another option, which is to buy such player on the transfer list. The only problem is they don´t exist and the few which are similar would cost you about 9-10 millions $. So you need 3 = 30 millions. This is not my idea of "cheap" things.

I´m done with this discussion. It has been a pleasure. Good luck.
