tanong narin. bakit mas qualified si gabo kesa kay andrew solima. 19 year old na 9k lang sweldo nun. si solima 20 yr old na almost 40k ang sweldo.

Okay, nice input.

Actually, we regularly talk naman sa facebook or by BB mail. And we will start meeting about tactics a week before the Australia game. As of now, cruise control lang.

I'll try to make pre-game and post-game comments here sa thread about the U-21 games, pero I am very busy as of the moment. And please, If you are watching the games, use the chatroom. Let's have fun talking about the game.

@ghazny, please get the forms from Don Manoah or iking. And give a copy of it to the other members. Thanks!

U-21 News

As you all know, we are part of the U21 Championship Tournament. The countries are divided into three groups of 6 or 7 teams. The top four from these groups will advance into the 2nd round of the tournament. Again, countries will be divided into pools, with 6 members each. The top 2 teams from this group will advance into the World Championships, if I remember correctly.

We are assigned to Group B, with the following teams:

China
Philippines (us)
Australia
Taiwan
Lubnan
Vietnam
India

If you look at the teams' rosters as of the moment, we are the sure to advance into the next round, problema na lang ang placing and rankings. Ofcourse, we would want to attain the highest position possible. For me, realistic ung mag aim for 2nd spot, since sobrang lakas pa ng China as of the moment. After China is the Philippines, then Australia. I'm not sure kung final roster na ng Australia un, or they are Centers secret for future matches.

For last monday's match

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/7549/boxscore.aspx

Philippines 107- Lebanon 61

We were able to win with a comfortable margin, despite their Normal against our TIE. Quisumbing and Baluyot did most of the damage on the court, while Igano manned the frontlines with 5 shotblocks. Maquiran was the best player off the bench, with 11 points, on 5-6 shooting, with 8 rebounds, on just 16 minutes of playing time.

Also, we predicted their offense correctly with our 2-3 defense. Our lead could have been higher, kung di nag normal ung Lebanon, and kung mas mataas form ng players.

Again, please limit their minutes to around 75 per week. Kung mas bumaba pa form nila this week, baka di sila maglaro next game. Also, try to get a massage doctor for the players kung sobra minutes nila. They are cheap naman.

Next opponent: India
