Do you know Chris Andersen, the "Birdman" of Denver Nuggets in NBA
not really
?It's the evidence that to be a great shotblocker doen't mean to be a great player
i am pretty sure this evidence, leads to the point that he doesn't earn like a great player?
Here a good SB skill, leads to players who aren't better but earn much more money - didn't you think that isn't a issue what should be retuned?
Over what SB skills nowadays act,it could be raise to much the importance of that skill, that also in reality it's not so useful as maybe you think
Maybe it also depends what you expect from SB, for me it is also the decision not to jump in some situtiations. A great Shot Blocker isn't must not have lot of block shot for me, but a good anticitpation when it makes sense to block or alter a shot. Which is beside spacing and "fighting" very important for a Big Guy.
