to be honest...the main idea is that teams from lower divisions train players and when they become too expensive for the team to afford they will be sold to a higher team...so for example a player starts training at 18 year old on a IV Div... with correct training at the age of 20-21 could (or should) be sold to a higher team (taking into account that not all teams manage to get promoted , so some times the wages become unaffordable) ... that's the main idea....on the other hand..each team on high divisions could at least traing 1-2 players , getting their 48 mins on the scrimmages or early cup games

Any highly ranked team who plays even one rookie is going to risk losing games they don't need to.


Is that so? I suppose then (in your world) the highly ranked teams are selling any MVP+ draftee they get because they can't train them.

Think of all non-D1 teams as an enormous developmental league for the top teams. (Sort of like college basketball in the US.)
