(1) How do you prioritize training between primary and secondary skills, both in your trainees, and when giving advice to others?
In Div II it was easier to train secondary skills, these days I only play players out of position with throw away games or easy wins. When giving advice to others I will definately promote the training of secondary skills especially because not only will it help U21 but when the player is older and training is slower, he will have good secondarys for the NT

(2) What role do you see the U21 Manager taking in terms of giving advise on training (i.e. how hands-on do you think the Manager needs to be when developing the team)?
I think it should be shared between the U21 and NT coaches as well as the other experienced members to help cultivate players. I think that we should put our brains together and come up with a plan to both how we will inform new players and how to identify our weaknesses and improve them (I didn't really understand the question but i hope i answered it)

I wanna know how you guys will pick the squad, what do you see as being more important? Offense or defense?
I would think defence is more important within reason, I would find it hard to give a player a spot that only has ID or OD and very low everything else

To all the Candidates

Will you sacrifice your team success for the greater good of the U21 team?

In my division that's hard to happen. But if it happen, I will sacrifice.

I'll just care with NZ, my team stays on the second plan!

Ralph54 --> That's much important in a community, offsite isn't a good idea, here everyone can see what we need. Forum is enough.

Blaze --> Yes, I will. I know some skills what I learned with my '' masters '' in Brazil. All what the owner will need, I already now, I've been there. I'll follow him, help him, and see his player in the future in NT, if his player real got potential.

Colesy --> If we did a good work, with the community helping, we can win. In my vision, I believe that team is good, have what I need. That's why I wanna have an assistant! We'll study about our opponent, and we can have what just me can't have!

SammyD --> Defense and attack ... What will I choose? Neither ... Defense in basketball is more important than attack, but in BB I think we need to have balance between them.

LeftHook --> Well, I do not have a team with much glories, but I as manager, I learned much things about BB, I know rare things that my biggest master taught me. I was part of Brazil NT staff in season 16.

LeftHook² --> I think the U-21 manager, can't just to concentrate in win. The real win is put the player what you had, in the principal team. Sometimes we need to sacrifice the results just to help the manager with train. Sometimes we're criticized without reason.

I'm foreign, I can see somethings what the zealanders can't see. One question is the love what you'll train the U-21 team, if you're a foreign, because you are not of this country, I think that's not a problem, 'cause I always say, '' I born in the wrong side of the world! ''

If you are asking yourself about, What can they see what we cannot?, I'll explain.

I was in the portuguese forum, and I thought portugal was a great national team. And I said '' Wow, how's to have one of the best teams in the world? ''

Some users laughed at me!

So, what that explains? I though portugal was a great team 'cause, I'm brazilian, and I don't know the real potential what they have. Here's the same thing, you should know your potential, but is not hard to understand your potential, because here is a small country. What I can see, or better, put are new ideas, that you didn't have yet.

Sorry by the delay, I saw the questions now!

I just saw hoddy sneakily sign up. I voted hoddy, I'd like to see him as U21 manager, I think he'd be good.

WINNER!

Hoddy has been NT coach before so he does have experience, not sure if he is very active these days though, might have to hit him up on that!
