Haha thats funny because I do the same with the Nets, I've gone to watch OKC and Clippers this season on like the 5th row for about $50, The Clippers one was actually interesting because the Nets actually won and Farmar hit a buzzer. For the OKC game the warm up was interesting because the whole OKC team was doing alley oops and nice dunks

"DENVER -- JaVale McGee's debut with the Denver Nuggets was punctuated by a smashing finish.

And the Nuggets needed it to overcome Ben Gordon's record-tying night from 3-point range.

McGee soared into the lane to rebound a teammate's missed free throw and dunk with 5 seconds remaining, and the Nuggets withstood Gordon's season-high 45 points for a 116-115 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night.

McGee's rebound and slam followed a missed foul shot by Arron Afflalo, who was fouled while making a driving layup with 5.6 seconds left. That basket pulled the Nuggets within 115-114 after they had blown a 25-point lead."

His dunk actually made the score 116-115, which was the final
McGee 1. you 0

That's fantastic, he finished +2. WoW stop the press.

Now did you see Nene, last night? 22/10 dub/dub, finished +10. Oh yeah they dominated on the road. Sure it was against the Nets. (but needing that to beat the Pistions at home, isn't even remotely impressive, considering he has a better team around him). Now the last time, they played the Nets, it was at home and your boy, Mcgee, was -20, in their loss. That's impressive a 7 footer plays over the half the game and doesn't even get 10 boards.

Nene 1, you 0. (see I can do this too)

All of them are sheer comedy, but the duo of #4 and #3 gotta take the cake.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Boozer is a vastly overrated and overpaid player. To begin with, he pads his stats and has always played with good pgs (Rose, Williams) and the Jazz under jerry sloan where one of the best teams in offensive execution during his stay. His defense has always been none existent (in the west he got owned by gasol every time the lakers played and then destroyed by chris bosh last season in the playoffs). Worst of all, he chokes in the playoffs every time. Against the lakers his offense would vanish as gasol would get anything he wanted... leaving the jazz with a defensive hole that also couldn't score.

Every playoff series boozer gets tons of hype from commentators who end up making excuses for him. Like"gasol has a size advantage" well so what, He also had an advantage in bulk which he consistently failed to use to his advantage. Barkley played at a disadvantage in size most of his entire career and still put up amazing stats in both the reg season and post season. Shaq completely destroyed Rik Smitts in the 2000 finals (38 pts and 16.7 rb per game) despite rik smits being 7'4" to shaq 7'1" On the defensive end Rodman used shut down larger players all the time while also out rebounding them, such as David Robinson, Karl Malone, Shawn Kemp, Chris Webber and Shaq.

The way Boozer plays defense alone, he would not be welcome on any team. He even allowed a struggling Bosh (who seemed to be lost the entire post season) to drop 24 ppg on 64% shooting on him through the series. Oh and where did his much needed offense go in the playoffs? 12.6 pts on 43% fg for a PF leaves much to be desired.

While he is not a garbage player, he is a frustrating one that gets way more credit than he deserves. Atleast Varejo can play defense and doesn't demand huge money just to drop off in the post season like boozer who is way overhyped and overpaid.

+1
Very good points about his playoff choking... I do think Bosh had a solid playoffs last year, but all his years in Utah he has 0 excuses for. He has always had a solid PG, even in Cleveland it was Andre Miller, then LeBron.

McGee off the bench for the Nuggets: 13 PPG 8 RPG 2.3 BPG in 25 minutes per game

Nene starting for the wizards: 16.3 PPG 8.7 RPG 1.3 BPG in 32 minutes per game

Now im no expert but i think that McGee is holding up about even with Nene. He may even be getting better production than Nene.

Nene is averaging 7 more minutes than McGee and is only putting up .7 more rebounds, 3.3 more points, and LESS blocks than McGee. I bet you if McGee got the starting roll for denver then he could easily beat the numbers that Nene is putting up.

We can agree to disagree though. P.S. Im a Nuggets fan, and was very disappointed with Nene leaving for McGee, but i have been very pleased with the trade.

Agreed. Boozer is a six million dollar player making what, 12 or 13 million? But I thought Nene was overpaid too and I think I'd take him over Boozer. Want to know the difference is between defensive minded, limited offensive bigs and wings/guards? About 7 million a year. I'd put D'Andre Jordan in that category, Kendrick Perkins and next year JaVale Mcgee will probably join the overpaid group.

Nene also, has not exactly been a 9 rebound per game player in his career either...

And correct me if I'm wrong, but McGee's contract pays him a lot less than Nene. Wilson Chandler able to be signed in Denver as a result, and Chandlers been playing fairly well, much needed too with Gallinari getting injured again.

I hate boozer with all my soul. I hate him so much. Me being a big man( 6 feet tall at 15 yrs old) I love to finish strong. There is no reason 4 me to fade away and layup everytime. I'd much rather dunk. I hate finess bigmen unless they're small in mass( ex.Ralph Sampson, Pau Gasol) But still boozer is my most hated NBA player. If he would just use his size and b more aggresive he could be one of the top big men but he dosen't. I have no respect for him as a player. I hate Carlos boozer in cleveland, utah, and chicago.
