Hey guys didn't realize that II.2 forum was actually quite active until now...
In regards to training local talents, I guess for me either I don't have good enough drafts or I just don't have the skill to train.
I still have my center drafted in season 7 who was actually in U21 but I guess I didn't develop him well enough to be in NT, throughout the years I've actually been trying to train up local players too but just not good enough.
Having been away from SBBL for 5 long seasons, it wasn't even named SBBL yet back then, my main focus is of course to build a team good enough to fight for promotion and I find it hard to groom a local player to be great and at the same time win the champion of II.2.
I've realized this through the past 5 seasons making the playoffs every season only to see another better team getting promoted.
Currently I only have two other local players on the team and still am trying to train them up.
Still, both only have Starter potential but I'll see if I can do anything to develop them better.
