Thanks Latino.

It would seem like the logical thing to do after assisting Leeroy occasionally where possible during his reign.

How can we know that you will have enough time for this position and how can we be sure that you will put in just as much effort as the other candidates can offer??

I wrote occasionally as im not going to be seen to ride on Leeroys coatails from what i consider a good reign from him. It was his baby and any success the U21's had (especially his 1st season) was thanks to him. I assisted when asked along the way with different tasks so he could keep his eyes on more important things like winning, which he will confirm.

You will have to take my word for it just like we would have to take your word that your experience wouldnt affect your managerial abilities for the job. I will only take on the job if i have the right people to assist as I respect the time the job will involve, if it looks like im on my lonesome then i wont apply simple as that. To be honest though i dont need to prove anything to this question as i have already shown im willing to go the distance with my own team and put time into it. I have built up and had my team continuously from 2009 til today. Im not on my 2nd team with a different username to mask the ghosts of the past. Enough said.

Wow, tremell it was just a question. I've been asked plenty. Wasnt having a go at you so I dont see the reason why you should have a cheap dig at me

As I said it was because of RL stuff and I told yodabig about it before I left. Wasnt that much to mask actually, I had only been playing for a season. And the I came back and let people know who I was so I infact wasnt masking anything...

Back when I had infinite time six seasons ago I recruited a team of about six assistants and it was gold. I had one person in charge of each age 21, 20, 19 and 18. I had one person in charge of scouting other teams. I had one person in charge of publicity and promotion. It was fantastic.

That was India which is about 1/5 - 1/10 the size of Australia. To really get things going well we would want to do something similar here. Anyone who wants can go back and look on the old forums on Bbstats and see what a great job we did way back on this about eight seasons ago. I would love to see it happen again.

As most people know my workload is crushing this year and I am stepping down from Bolivia as I just can't give it the time needed but I would also be happy to assist Australia U21 in some way maybe with a few players as my mentees.

Ideally that's what we should be doing in both the U21 and National team but sadly not enough hands are being raised up even when the opportunity is there. For example I'm struggling to get much interest in people applying for national assistant? I was expecting a few more applicants to but doesn't seem to be happening. So this goes back to the Australian public, do you want to help out? Put your hand up as I'm sure a role is required. I still remember the Mllama days where plenty of managers were willing to help...

I think you'll find plenty of people willing to assist. In my final season as U21 coach, I went down the path of having a large staff, I think I had 10 or so people helping. Some were active, some weren't. Ideally, I think if you could have a staff of around 5 people, each taking care of 15 or so players, that's probably what is needed to get the job done well.

Just to give an idea of the magnitude of the task for an U21 coach, you (or your staff) probably need to keep an eye on 20 players per age group - so around 80 all up. It's too much for one person to do well, unless you live on BB!

Personally, I'd be happy to take on a small role (regardless of who gets the gig), but since I'm not as active as I was, it'd probably only be taking 5 or players under my wings

Haha sorry mate dont take it too personal. But you know what my point is. I think you have made great gains in your contribution to the community as a whole since you have come back. Just seemed like a strange question to ask from someone that the wider community may not be aware of your previous history under a different name.

If I may say something on this topic. I agree 100% Trikster and I even complained about this issue on the offsite forum in the middle of the past season. I noticed this and said we needed to change things and get on the players real early. I'm pretty sure I mentioned it already in my campaign that if elected I would see to it that each age group gets looked after and that I continuously get updates each week ideally. I would myself right away get onto introducing myself to the young players coach and advising them on training and help set up training plans if need be. Yeah pretty sure I said something like this earlier. So yeah thats one of the big things I will put so much effort into correcting!

Are you saying you will do all the players yourself or have assistants? It reads like you are going to do it all yourself? If so, listen to everyone's wise advise and get assistants to assist ;)

When I answered a question earlier (think it was mllamas) I said that I plan to have assistants. And yes I agree with all you guys, if elected I would try build as big of a staff as i can or need be. And also as I keep mentioning, no one will get rejected just like that. Fair go for everyone with a genuine interest in our national teams
