Unfortunately it does not only appear to be the NT. The Canadian forums are completely dead, worse than I ever remember them being. I thought my division II was going to be fairly active but I was completely wrong. In talking with people from other communities I have heard similar experiences from them. Is BB dying or are people just losing interest?

Whatever the reason it sure sucks!

There hasn't been much, if any, improvement to this game for the past 2-3 years...

They're always making changes and have actually made quite a few the past 2-3 seasons.

I think over time people just tend to get bored.

I agree that people tend to get bored and leave.

However the improvements made are not significant nor have they fixed some of the glaring issues. This could be argued but considering LI has dominated for 10 plus seasons the changes may be to late for some.

Regardless let's hope that The Canadian community picks up its activity and continues to push to be a top BB nation.

Yes, we cannot afford to lose our forum/NT diehards, and adding a few to the existing managers wouldn't hurt. People leaving > people joining still unfortunately.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I'm an outside team at heart but I fundamentally like how heavy the game leans towards LI. I think it equalizes the playing field while also suppressing luck. I think I'd get frustrated at an alternative.

Not sure how you can call yourself an outside team. The majority of your games you play LI just like everyone else, including me. The reason we all do that is that it has been proven to be the best tactic, by far! None of the other tactics are even close under the current GE, hopefully this changes with the upcoming change but it is long over due.

Anyways we are getting off topic. This thread is to discuss the lack of activity amongst Canadian users and Canada's NT.

I think he means that he wants to play outside offenses but keeps migrating towards inside because he knows that's what works. In the lower divisions I always played outside offenses and they were definitely more fun.

That said, LPP has been outside guy for year and he's built the best team on paper at this moment. I think the beauty of his team is that he can probably play any offense with his group, that will give him an advantage next year when they add 'guess your opponents offense' to the tactics page.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I doubt Bballin and Kumiko and whoever else are overworked moderating our forums. Unless it's prohibited by admins, any discussion should pretty much be encouraged here. I've actually learned some things about training and was reminded that news posts exist (GE changes) lately, so it would definitely preferable to me at least...

I can't speak for anybody else, but I know in my case I pay attention to the national teams, but really don't have anything to contribute to the discussions.

I'm pretty much the same. I know when we win or lose, but I don't have any insight to offer the managers that they don't already know.
