Team of the scroll closes out the pre-allstar break with a 7-6 record. Sitting in a playoff position. ShadowSlam un-surprised by where his team sits. "A lot of our struggles to win early came to some of our key players, Luwa & Marks, Struggling. But as the season progressed Luwa got things going, and in our recent match-up vs Team of 7, we finally saw Marks play like the player he is."

Last game Team of the Scroll won easily at home vs Team of 7 102-55. The 2-3 zone was no problem as the Team of the Scroll run and gunned their way through it!

Eric Marks was the player of the game shooting a season best 11-18, 1-3 on 3s, 2-6 at the line, to go along with 21 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 turnovers, 3 steals and 25 points. It's Mark's 3rd consecutive dbl-dbl when he gets the start, and his 1st 20/20 performance of the season.

Donald Luwa not as sharp as usual as he defended one of the league's leading scorers, Charlie Conner. Conner was held to 8 points while shooting 2-10 from the floor and 4-4 at ft line in 44 minutes of action. Luwa, had his assists number higher than usual, which can only mean, that it's because Marks was finally knocking down his shots. Luwa posted 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 turnover, 1 steal, and 1 block in 47 minutes of action. Shooting 7-15 from the floor, 1-4 from deep, and 1-4 at the FT line.

David Thomas' assists have been dropping off the map lately with the great team play, but he's found other ways to stay effective. Thomas scored 7 points, had 1 rebound 3 assists 2 steals and 3 blocks, 0 turnovers.

Team of the Scroll has been on fire since (65837005) coincidentally, the 1st game Mark's got going as well. Having won 5 games in a row, and 3 in a row within the league. Team of the Scroll has a fair bit of momentum going into the all-star break. Dave Burgos is expected to be in the 3-point shootout.

Possible all-stars from TOS are Burgos at SG, and Thomas at PG.

As inter-league play winds to a close after the all-star break, Team of the Scroll fans can expect ShadowSlam to be working hard during the AS Break to come up with a game plan to close out the season strong and make a strong showing come playoff time. Things others should be wary about is the line-ups TOS have been using. Where has Sean Clark, and Burt Branch gone? Branch whom was so effective, and Clark whom was a fearless shooter and a mismatch causer?

With their incredible improvement at rebounding from the season' beginning, is it cause for concern to the rest of the league? Does ShadowSlam's team have what it takes? Keep watching and find out!!!

The game of all games!!!!

Team of the Scroll, having lost on the road and dropping to 7-7 and 4th place in playoffs, facing the #2 seed in the opposing conference. The eprnany city put in more effort, but ShadowSlam's team had home court, and the Epernany City gameplan, and came from behind, trailing 97-94 with 1 minute to go, to win, on a Eric Marks SLAM DUNK with less than 2 seconds to play.

Sean Clark was reinstated back into the league lineup due to Luwa close to maximizing his potential. And boy did Clark show that he wanted it bad! Sean Clark was a 1 man demolition team, for a home crowd at Sessurada, Clark put on a clinic! Shooting 16-26, 1-2 on 3s, and hitting 8-14 FTs. Sean Clark scored 41 points, including 4 in the final minute, to go along with 21 rebounds (7 on offense), 2 assists, 3 steals, 1 blocks, and 2 turnovers.

Eric Marks showing it don't matter who guards him or who's on the floor with him as he found his stride. Marks scored the go-ahead and game winning shot on an alley-oop dunk with less than 2 seconds in the game! Marks for the game shot 9-18, 1-2 on 3s, 3-3 at FT line, including 2 clutch free throws in the final minute, and recorded 12 rebounds (5 on offense), 2 assists, 1 block, and 0 turnovers. Scoring 22 points.

It was a quiet day otherwise for Team of the Scroll as no one else really played great... Thomas played well, and Connelly played well off the bench, but everyone else played sub-par. Clark and Marks, tag-teamed the Epernany City, and made a statement to the league. Clark perhaps making a statement to ShadowSlam about his playing time as well.....

Sean CLark's 41 points were a career high as were his career high 21 rebounds. Epernany City picked a bad day to play Team of the Scroll, if they had known Clark was going to be like that they would have stayed on the bus. That ladies and Gents, is why this was the TV game of the week!
