I said bad stamina and bad Gs = injury .. I said nothing minutes or managing them for my self or other wise.

Not a lot big time managers or managers over all use GS, Its a witch hunt for a excuse to remove something in my opinion. If they want get rid of that, then get of injuries. which really does hurt your team and give advantage . A player who is being paid and cant play hurt more than GS boost..

Just because you trained GS don't mean your going to win. A lot of championship teams on BB never trained it and won more. .

game shape training tuned in a lower way and 2 weeks new players "game shape block" seems doesn't work very well:

(14597447) 5 to 8
(13516896) 6 to 9
(13498146) 6 to 8

at least
(12014477) 6 to 7
(14694187) 6 to 7

i think GS for new bought players should be the less effective possible, or it is still possible to buy 5 older and higher salary player on monday of the last week and try to promote... a kind of "half season tanking"

Why not make Stamina training single-position? Doesn't bail you out if you mismanaged your whole teams minutes, but allows you to get a players GS up on an individual basis.

I see where you're coming from, but if more than one player on my team has low stamina, and I want to get it above inept, for example, then that would be a big inconvenience. Plus, if training stamina was changed to a 1-pos./2-pos. format, wouldn't players have to train it for longer periods as they age?

sorry i misspoke...i meant to say gs training not stamina. Stamina has its own separate set of BB problems.

About GS, another thing:

Now GS is "almost blocked" for two weeks after a new player buy.

But.... A GS training overrule enough this rule. 2 GS = GS of new bought players not under 8.

So: IMO is still enough simply to gain GS and until it will be stronger to train GS instead of training primaries, the balance is missing.

I return to suggest: GS max level when you train must be lower than GS9 (f.e. 8,5/8.2) or block new bought players GS for two weeks also if the team trains GS. This protect from the "last second bought". And is similar to Real Life, where in the most important Basket leagues Trade deadline is far from PostSeason. (Nba is February, EL is around march, in Italy is 2 gameday before playoffs, Spain also...)

Another way of limiting the effect of GS training could be for it to only affect players with low GS eg player A has GS of 5 gets training boost to 7 on update while player B has GS of 8 although the team gets GS training he receives no boost and his GS is only altered by the minutes he receives during the week.

This would mean that GS training is still very effective to keep your team in good GS but in order to truly get the best out of you players you would still need to strictly manage your minutes.

I agree with you, i can accept doing it during Postseason, but, against who tanks and then build a superteam in last week against relegation or for promotion, it should not work. Yeah, it may be a problem for "injury issue" but take a new player it's always a risk, also in RL.

And during season i had same behaviour. The only difference is the high number of garbage matches which allow me to manage minutes easily.

The problem with GS is that there is two much randomness to it. I have played players at 30 minutes and 80+ minutes and have had them pop to 9 GS. On the other hand I have had players with 60 minutes have their GS drop. The only I way I find to have any certainty with GS is to actually train it. Now, I see the point some managers are making that GS training gives teams who do not focus on training an unfair advantage; my suggestion is that teams be allowed to do both team training(GS, FT and Stamina) and player training in the same week. This would allow all teams to keep consistently high GS, or train FT or stamina even if they want to focus on player training. As well, it would likely encourage more managers to train players, which I think is important as the depth of Buzzerbeater's player pool could potentially weaken in the next 5-10 seasons due to the ongoing drop in user numbers.

Another idea is that managers be allowed to single position train players at every position each week (ie train OD for PG and IS for C in the same week). This would actually make it possible for managers to build a team, solely by training, that can compete at the highest levels (Div 1 and B3). It would also lower the price of great, salary efficient players, making easier for newer players to quickly compete with more experienced managers.
