you probably put it down to a bad slice of pizza or a bit of trapped wind ;)

pizza

There are two things that I have never done, that it seems the rest of the world likes to do. I have never been in a McDonald's, and I've never eaten pizza.

I'm going to downvote you for this, like I downvote Zeus when he wins.

Tough round 6 with very hard fought match-ups and 2 upsets (BC Snaiperiai over Los Mikitos and Kapsukas over London City, both with higher effort). Well done to all the teams who made it this far. One round to Neutral ground matches.

Tatatallfella got the W against Tide of Fire in the highly coveted match-up of this round where several NT stars logged heavy minutes. Similarly Phoenix Warriors downed Sabre of Valiente at home in the other all-EBBL match-up. Both winners played with higher effort.

The all-DII.4 match-up, Arab City @ The Myrmidons was the closest game of the week: 78-80 the final score.

Total teams remaining from D1-D2 leagues:
EBBL 5/16 (-3)
DII.1 1/16 (-1)
DII.2 2/16 (-1)
DII.3 1/16 (-2)
DII.4 3/16 (-1)

The 4 remaining DIII teams are from DIII.5; DIII.6; DIII.10; DIII.14. Well done!

It seems logical that some winning teams with higher effort did crunch their opponents, this should present some opportunities for underdogs in the coming 2 rounds!!!

Good luck to everyone in the Cup tonight.

Not sure if this is still a problem, but anyone watching tonight's game should be aware that a couple of seasons ago, I found out the result of my Cup game in advance when I checked my Manage My Team page and saw that I was available for a scrimmage on thursday, the day of the next round in the Cup. So don't look to see if you can book a scrimmage.
