England U21 -57 Crna Gora U21

FINALLY A WIN!!!

It was an easy game, not much to say really. Im just happy to get my first win.

Mulrain had another beast game with 27points and 13 boards, apart from that we had some nice balanced scoring.

On to Scotland next week, bring it on

i am looking to win the remaining games of the season. As i said a few posts ago, the last 3 teams we play were all 0-4 (including us) so as motivation I was thinking of that as a mini league as we were all playing eachother in the last 3 games.

Can't so no reason why you can't win them games and now your first ones under the belt, lets hope them three will come quickly with it.

not only did you win this mini league, you stormed it with every win being more than comfortable, so congratulations mate.

The thing I really look forward to next season is the U21 team should be strong with the likes of Mulrain, Brodie, Maher, Daniels and McPhorich around. I definitely can't wait to see the inside dynamo of Mulrain and Brodie!

Thanks To be honest, i expected to easily win the last 3 games, I just wanted t try and make a big deal about it and hype it up haha.

I am definatly looking forward to next season! I just hope I can find some good bacjup players to the 20y/o players already in the squad. My next job is to update my records of the players I have to see what I have to play with for next season.

Still its nice to get a nice streak of wins under your belt and nothing wrong with hyping it up haha!

Sounds good mate, if you need a hand, drop me a message, got some spare time on my hands and more than happy to assist you.

Scrimmage against Switzerland U21 today. As we are playing a team that was in order group and we lost to them lat time, i wanted to give the squad a final chance to display their skills. Hopefully next weeks scrimmage I will have found some 20y/os for next season to try out.

5 weeks back, we were beaten by Switzerland by a narrow 8 points and today we beat them by 12. Shows what HCA can do for a team because the players played similar minutes and there was a 20 point difference so great win!

Also, I know I've said this previously but I am really looking forward to the pairing of Brodie and Mulrain next season, hopefully their managers can continue to do a good job training them as well as maintaining good GS.

I have just removed the 21y/o players from the squad as the season is over and im looking towards next season. I will begin to scout 20y/o for the squad. We have a scrimmage against Israel on Monday and we have agreed to both use 20y/o players for the game. We already have 5 players that have been in the squad from this season that I wil be using, these include Brodie, Mulrain, Maher, MacPhorich and Samuels. All 5 have made impact at somepoint during the season, Brodie and Mulrain have been probably our 2 best players this season so I'm hoping for great things from these next season.

The aquad has been selected for the scrimmage against Israel tomorrow. Game is at 2:30pm if you can get on to watch.

Obviously the 5 20y/os that have been in the squad all season have made it again, Brodie+Mulrain+Maher will hopefully be deadly for us. The selection of bigs wasn't great but with 3 already in the squad it made it only made the last 2 spots hard to pick. At guard I've had problems with the lack of SG quality we have, some players have made it that ideally I don't want, I will just have to try different lineups to see what works there.

Also a call up for 19y/o Steven Ward, one of Morwood's trainees, Not going to be a star in the team, migh not make the squad sometime however he will be a player to look for in the next few seasons.

If anyone has a player that they believe should make the squad message me and I'll see if he can fit in or suggest training for them. There is plenty of time for the squad to change, this is certainly not my final squad.

As for the game, I'm not too bothered about the result. I just want to see what I have to deal with next season and over the next few weeks work out what tactics work bets for us.
