CHeers for understanding, Lemon.

I agree with your point, i'm in the same position, without selling my MVP draftee it will take me most of the season (100,000 profit a week) to buy a player that will get me promoted.

It can make being in the lower leagues a waiting game but then I guess I might see the benefit when I am forced to sell my trainee down the line because he could fetch well over a million..

Well let's see Perpete: all the winners of my league since I got there are currently in D1. The guy who won my league in S29 seasons ago, actually won the D1 title in S30. My D2 league has consistently the lowest average ranking of all D2 in England and consistently the most teams progressing in the cup. I only started Private Leagues this season and it doesn't look very likely that I will lose to any of the D2 playoff teams (from a much larger nation like the US for example) even if I make experiments. I'm freaking ranked 13 in my country despite not having set foot in D1 ever. But yeah maybe it's because I can beat higher salary teams, it must mean that they suck and my league suck and perhaps all the other D2s and D1 in England suck. Excellent reasoning and excellent example of how to derail a thread after Blur already reminded us twice to keep it constructive.

I told you what my situation is. After your comment can we agree than not many teams are as lucky as me to have such shitty human opponents. Perhaps we should move on to some actual points. Like how long do you think it's reasonable to wait to have a go at an elite player or an elite trainee (say a player/trainee which currently costs 1 million or more and that's not even that high for "elite" players/trainees).

Maybe now you will go all hrudey on us and tell us that lower league teams could train low potential low cost players? I haven't seen any change that increases the benefit (in terms of economy or otherwise) for managers to train low potential compare to high potential trainees, but if you know that prices are going up I'd argue it makes more sense to try and go for elite trainees as soon as you have the chance to.

You know what your so full of it . That's why none respect you today because your one sided and only allow opinions you see fit. So Keep deleting post , blacklisting is versus the rules as well.

Your not doing Bb no favors with your actions.. I was on topic like that or not. If you could understand it or not. Who problem is that ?Your own Not BB.

As I said the prices are too high. You got problem with that, take it up Bb Marin not me tell him to make it understandable for BB.

Well, Perpete, I expanded on my reply. I'm not offended, really. I personally don't think there is any reasonable indicator that my D2 is particularly weak and that isn't the point of the thread.

I just made a point similar to E.B.W. regarding how long I have to wait to get what I think will make a significant difference for my team given my current situation. I think that's a reasonable approach to evaluating whether prices are too low or too high at our respective level.

At any rate I'm playing the #2 ranked team in England (he's not the second best, but anyway). Perhaps you can come in the England chat or at least cheer for me! http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/85127297/reportmatch.as... I hope you're not offended either! :]

Its a open thread, I can discuss it how I see fit in opinion on topic same as you, that doesn't make it a fact. He gave a direct question , wanting a direct answer. You want 3 questions and many answers which defeat the purpose of his direct question.

So tell who why you are entitled to do such and none else> . It was a direct question. Now he asked to debate with you because you wanted 3 question and many answers, very civil to do so..? But direct questions don't work like that. That does not make them bias questions.

If I ask you do like fat women and you tell me. I need to be more specific, I need a listing of type s of fat women? 1.fat and depressed.2 fat and working, 3.fat and rich.4. fat and just damn fat.

Your looking for wiggle room by breaking it down to your delight to save face, nothing wrong with that. But it was a direct question. Nothing bias about it. Why cant you just say Yes or No? Its a simple direct question.

I agree pretty much with everything you said. In fact I fully expected the changes to be focused on low potential trainees, as they are really the weak link here, rather than the economy. Hrudey was especially vocal about this in the past and I agree in general with the fact that the efforts should have been on this segment of training.

If prices are high/increase, the top end players will be proportionally higher than low end ones. Potential is a nice concept in this game, but since not all draftees are trainable I think lower potential ones should have something that make them useful/worth acquiring. Maybe slightly faster training speed so that they cap faster and people can realise decent money faster than with high potential players, maybe something else, I don't know. Working on the economy and not on the training system itself does not address this issue.
