Nice game tonight. To be honest, I was surprised I won, considering you countered my motion with 3-2 zone and went normal. Your game shape was the biggest factor, but it was definitely really close. As for me, lol, maybe I should start tinkering with strategies and lineups more often.

Thanks. I kind of bungled the first half of this season, figured I might be able to squeeze out a win and avoid that brutal boycott mechanic. Oh well, time to focus on training Holden. Everyone seems to be leaning into this season more than years past.

I guess that's true, but I still think the league is wide open. There is no heavy favourite at the moment. If you can manage to fix your game shape, I think your team might catapult into the top 2 or 3 in your conference.

Well, All-Star rosters should be interesting this season. This should be the game that the Great 8 get a win after losing it the last 3 seasons.

Any ideas on starters? I think Amat and Jak (maybe Lunn) get starts from my team, but I have had a few injuries which have limited their games played. Not sure what other players will make the cut, probably Diram.

Hopefully, Great 8 gets a win in the All Star game.

I’m going to take a wild guess on the 10 All Stars for Great 8.

PG Starter: Sidney Langmack (Rain)
SG Starter: Lucas Whitaker (Rain)
SF Starter: Diram Manuelyan (Rain)
PF Starter: Norman Lunn (Spitfires)
C Starter: Ruldolph Jacobstein (Spitfires)

PG Backup: Alfonso Amat (Spitfires)
SG Backup: Lampis Tsartsilis (Rain)
SF Backup: Elpidio Angel (Team)
PF Backup: Jose Luis Maneru (Team)
C Backup: Kevin Weissenberger (Nordiques)

Wildcard that might make the cut
PG: Milan Damboraky (Polar Bears)
C: Victor Depreux (Rain)
C: Hugh Denoon (Rain)

I only think Langmack makes it over Amat in terms of role on the team, minutes and longer impact. But stat wise, Amat should be the starting PG. As for both SG, only reason I put both of mine in is I don’t really spot any solid SG in terms of impact and games played at that position. Mine shouldn’t be in the SG spot, but can’t really spot any that would make it. Could be wrong on that stance but I wonder who will get in at SG. Primarily I think most of the players on Great 8 are going to come from Spitfires and I with maybe a couple from Kelvins Team. Interesting to see who makes the cut though.

Would love to hear thoughts and predictions on all star players around the league.

You were pretty close with your guesses. I knew Langmack wasn't going to beat Amat though xD

Weissengruber totally should have made it. Maybe it was the only 7 GP that did him in.
