Well going to TIE against beasts now.
can't possibly hope for both me AND bains to beat him to give me a chance to get 2nd and a home court final.

so I've just commissioned over 2000 new seats to the RANGA DOME instead.
bit over half a mil gone.

thinking long term, its the right move
thinking right now, it pisses me off.
i'm from the NOW generation and i want my dream team already!

Dreamers are out of play off contention.. We brought some guys in hoping it would get us over the line and it didnt work. So, we're going back to square 1, selling off players and re-investing in trainees. We will take 5th or 6th and spend the next 2 seasons at least rebuilding.

Chan isnt on the market yet, but i expect he could cost me 35k per week next season, and if that is the case he could be looking for a new home. i expect to battle relegation next season, but its all about the long term now, and not the short term.

definitely right move mate.

if PA wasnt tanking i wouldve earnt almost 350-370k in two home games however PA's fans decided not to travel so i couldnt filll the stadium so only got 300k

the future is where the ranga is

My plans were to save as much money as possible
and then start of next season buy either 1 x $1.5mil player (PG or SF) like $30k p/week or 2 x $750k players (1 of each) $15-20k p/week.
but instead i've spent a large portion of my current funds on the stadium.
so it looks like next season will be more of the same stuff from the Rangas, only with Gab Wall developing some offensive skills to go with his already good defensive set.

my scouting has gone terribly and finishing where i will, i'm likely to get 3 of the biggest clowns to ever set foot on a basketball court.



Anyways we will see what happens in a couple weeks time.

I know how you feel Ranga. Finished the first 1000 and started the next 1000 right away. Briefly had $1.5 million in the bank but my funds are up and down like a yoyo. I would be feeling very smug about my tanking except for this horrible draft. Spent so much for so little. Maybe I will have some luck with my second round pick and some 3 ball guy will be a HOFer.

After all these seasons of training and I look at my "finished" players. Not really going to dominate this league but at least I got the type of players I like.

Tanking is so hard. I accidentally half forgot and sent a half decent roster against the Skyhooks, lucky it was an away game, my injured guys still had poor GS, I had sold most of my best guards and they normalled to my tie.

I am going to end the season with crazy enthusiasm. Maybe I will CT superman in the last round and try to win by 100.

Thanks Bains,

I appreciate the centiment. I congratulate you on your win as I must admit I was hitting for the rangas, being one of my boys. At that time I think you did him a favour, Ranga's now have the opportunity to really build that salary rather than chasing the flag, he has basketball mentality and will prove he is worthy in the next season or 2.

Donny I am hoping it is you and I in the finals and I will continue loving this game no matter what, I think we will have a great game going on our last, loss to me by 6 in OT, HCA true but I think I can give you a great run no matter who (Dons) gets the first and last home game.

no worries, i had to deal with skyhook and donny cheering for ranga, twas a bit lonesome in the Pleb corner, although i reckon neeber if online wouldve been giving the plebs a chant.

well if donny pulls me ill have to soften him up for ya send out the criminals of the team and see if we can take a few injuries down with us. im coming for you donny ^.^
