Bains I am shocked, you put me as a definite outsider.

outsider by no means. just intrigued to find out how you fair against Many Men. no offence but i have my reasons for the $4.00 price.

this will be subject to change.

plus I think you probably rate a little higher once your guys start to work together, chemistry doesn't come over night..

realistically - i lost to rangas, hippos, beasts, blaze.

play Many Men next up. if i can get the win in that one i may move in a bit. however the only potential contender i have beaten is Be High and they are off the pace.

keeping in mind the best i could probably finish is 4th giving me an extremely hard draw to the finals, with no home court performances until game 2 of the finals. all im saying is it may be wishful thinking this season. but you have to be in it to win it... and that game gap over skyhook now betters my chances to be in it

Full assault Ranga, I meant 'the' not 3! I also watched the end of your game, it was with 0:00 to go that he hit the shot to put you up by 2 but hey, who's counting as you got the win.

Agree that you will have a tough run no matter what Bains but as it has been mentioned many a time, tough div III. I have been in this league for 4 seasons, last season being the first time I had a chance to get out so it does take time to get competitive, think be high and many men have been in here much longer too..

hahah yeah mate a win is a win, and i played TIE so all is good at home for the rangas :)
looking ahead I think the Rangas are going to be a-ok :)

Interesting to watch Tomorrow nights block buster of the plebs vs many many many men.
the other 7 games should be all but pre-determined. would take some serious upsets this week i think. :)

Yeah, I would like to see Bains as having a chance but not sure... My tips,

Wags by 30
Beasts by 40 TIE
Rangas by 13 TIE
MM by 9
Zeds by 50
Be High by 12, assuming Chan plays
Blaze by 22

No problem enjoy the gift. I realy had to make the choice who I need to beat more you or the guys in the Big 8. Well you can see how I decided. I really wanted to just stick with the training at the moment and get the enthusiasm up to the max as I have a hard strech coming up when I play Plebs, Rangas and Beasts in a row and I will have to skip training then and set my best lineups for the first time this season.

While HCA will be an issue if I do make the finals against you it was a decision I had to make. My team really needs one more season of training to feel good about making the finals and possibly winning so training mostly comes first this season except for a very few games. I will make lots more changes before the playoffs but until then I am just trying to keep everyone fit, healthy and trained.

I am trying to sound smart but I have really made a couple of bad moves in the last season and a half which have set the team back. Hard to really know how things will work out until you do them. If this is the season for you or the Beasts so be it, I just wont be making it easy for you guys this season. I tanked last season, made a stack of money, got the trainee I always wanted for the future of the team (18 5k SS) and cut the players that couldn't take me to the championship.

Some close predictions there Brett, but i am honestly really happy to be walking away with the upset win against Be High. This puts me 2 games clear of the Spartans, and i really do not want to be in the relegation battle this year...

It was another one of those games where the opposition beat us in every aspect of the game, but we somehow walk away with the win, thanks to 1 David Chan.. I thought come OT when Hurriyet was off the court injured we were done and dusted, but we snuck home nicely..

Sets us up for a nice home game to the rangas next up, i expect to lose, but should be a nice pay day for us with a good solid crowd.

well a great win by skyhook with the tie.

i got the win but MM playing tie looks like he may be making a run at bretta for a title chance.

i continue to be astounded by the way you keep pace ranga. nice work

Ha,

Don't think I will be quiting my day job, just figured I would temporarily stand in for Bains :) Well done to you both Skyhooks and Bains, yeah he played TIE bains but you got the win which also helps your cause right?? Skyhooks, BH put more effort in than you right? So another season of strongs blues and an obvious differential on the reds.. Can that be reflected in Origin tonight?

Spot on Bretta, BH played normal whilst i TIE'd. The more i look at it the more i ask myself how on earth did i win that game.. we were dominated, my only pg was injured, and we still got the chocolates :D

if i were BH, that game would be going in the ole "How the hell did i lost that game" thread on forums...

I don't consider the Dreamers a strong blue side, we have alot of players on this roster just to fill holes, and lack 1-2 key position players as well.. I think looking at all the facts from the game, the Dreamers just wanted it more..

Interestingly tho, in the red side, the dreamers would be fighting for 3rd-4th, not 5th-6th as in the blue side... crazy!

Many Men were playing away at your arena.
Many Men played TIE while you played normal.
Many Mens PG Mahu Pugh dropped 63 points on you.
Even after that game Many Men have a 3 game and 132 point PD on you.

Yes you won the game but who has the better team? They beat me so I can't boast although it was an away game for me, I ran training minutes and let my 19 year olds play, and we had equal enthusiasm. But at least you got the win.

I am very glad that ACT has at least one tough opponent to have to fight through on their ride to the finals. They will have an easy first round but a more interesting second.

Mad Rangas have done really well but they have had incredible luck. They beat you by 5, they beat CRE Towers by 6 and now they beat The Lakeshow by 2. If they had lost all those close games and were 8 and 7 I don't think we would all be saying how brilliant they are. They only have 3 good players and all are 28 and getting no better. The player to watch on their team is Gabriel Wall (18084302) who is 7'2" MVP potential. He will be the best player in this league one day if he can ever control his fouling. I have the same issue with Diam and it is annoying and makes him hard to train.

I still think it will be a Beasts v Blaze final but Many Men are making it at least a bit more interesting. If they can beat the Blaze when the two teams play they could swipe HCA. Just like there is a tiny chance that I can keep HCA and the dubious honor of playing you not Rangas if I can win out for the rest of the season. Minor miracle I guess.

yes it was in my arena and i was playing with more enthusiasm... although as you said Pugh had 63 points. whats the chance he does that if we played again. granted it was a 14 win with HCA and more enthusiasm, but Pugh shoots under 50% he it could be a 20+ game. so i am not that worried.

and to be honest Hippo i am not at all interested in playing you in the first final.
