Its 4:15pm on a Monday afternoon. Shouldn't the Under 21s have a scrimmage tonight?

Nothing scheduled at the moment

Link to the offsite forum? I've been playing for a solid amount of time now and I still don't know the offsite forum, maybe more awareness will help...

My suggestion is developing better managers by mentoring them on how to run their team, not just get the best out off there U21 prospects.

Yes! This is a major part of my communal approach. Clearly I haven't been clear enough. As a very rough guide as to some of what I'm talking about here is some of what I have in mind if I decide to run and get the job:

Staffing:

Coach (1): The coach is responsible for the following:
1.Tactical choices for all games
2.Overseeing staff and their roles
3.Selection and exclusion of players for the team
4.Liaison with all staff

Assistant Coaches (2): An assistant coach is responsible for the following:
1.Assisting the Coach with tactical options prior to games
2.Assisting the Coach in all other matters

Mentors for 18, 19 and 20 year olds (3): Are responsible for:
1.Regular communications with managers, Australian and non-Australian, regarding their U21 players.
2.Creation of statements (in consultation with PR Manager) for Prospective Players and Current Players.
3.Providing managers of players with links to expected skills sets relevant for their player and age.
4.Providing managers of players with links to Experts for further advice.

Mentor for 21 year olds (3): Are additionally responsible for:
5.Providing advice/guidance for managers on how to prepare their players for NT selection.

Expert: Training (?): Will be responsible for:
a.Assisting managers in managing weekly minutes
b.Providing managers with training information regarding skills
c.Providing information on all things regarding training

Expert: Administration (?): Will be responsible for:
1.Providing managers with information regarding all things BB related other than U21 NT information.( For example, they may assist new managers with the use of the game manual, or provide managers with

Game Reviewers (?): Will be responsible for:
1.Reviewing games played and player performances.
2.Providing the community with a brief analysis of games for discussion.
3.Providing the Coaching staff with community responses regarding games to be considered for next game.

Public Relations Officer (?): Will be responsible for:
a.Providing the community with game results, player performances and brief analysis of games in a tongue-in-cheek tone with the sole purpose of engaging Aussie managers, providing them with some value for having U21 players.
b.Providing the community with upcoming games, the times they are played and possible rosters and roster changes.

Scouts (2): Will be responsible for:
1. Scouting up coming games (team tactics previously employed/player GS history etc)
2. Watching for players that are put onto TL to obtain skill sets etc

Now, this is---I must remind you---a basic draft of some of what I'm thinking. Obviously this 'structure' needs considerable input from a variety of managers to be highly effective...but that is why a communal approach to everything is beneficial to the organising of how we run the U21 NT into the future...

LOL

If I run and lose...sure, however, there are some excellent managers who can write up fun reviews far better than I. Mine would be too boring I fear. :-)

Second Team:
Redbacks
:( Disappointing! Could have been used in a real positive way, if rewarding managers is the aim this time of the tournament.

I'm sure that we can---given Iwen's credentials---forgive the fact that there is no scrim tonight. Disappointing? Sure.
The end of the world? I don't think so...

...even Iwen has a RL too... :-)
