i'll grant that is the most likely scenario -- but it is my impression that you veteran DII players are really unpredictable and/or very shrewd as in, able to size up the situation and cut your losses.
how should i understand your efforts to sell gilliam and turovas? or TF selling that Greek? in DIII, those sales would be the desperate attempt to reshape a team before the playoffs. here, you guys may be just selling at the peak of the market, realizing anything more than one and out in the playoffs ain't going to happen.
luckily i don't have to figure this out. but the Dribblers against you -- i have no idea what you would do. TIE? have a laugh and do CT? if i were the Dribblers, do CT? normal at home? hope that you selling two good players has leveled your two teams and HCA will tip the balance in his favor? or accept DIII next season?
and you guys seem to have known each other for some time, there might be some sort of weird out-of-BB thing like you dated the Dribblers' sister and pternes has never forgiven you. this whole season has been a mystery to me.
