My 5'9 point 19 year old point guard and 6'3 18 year old small forward have been getting OD pops about every 1.7 - 1.8 weeks through single position training with a level 4 trainer.

I wish there were pigmen. You get a few of these pigmen walking around I'm looking a whole lot better. Then if somebody wants to fix me up at least they could say, Hey he's no pig-man!

some more OD data, this time for OD 2-position, data received from an anonymous user who trains smarter than I do ;-)
Trainer = level 5

A 19 6'2"
B 20 6'1"
C 20 6'4"
D 22 6'3"
E 22 6'0"
F 20 6'6"

wk1 wk2 wk3 wk4 wk5 wk6 wk7 wk8 wk9
A 48 47 48 46 48 48 48 48 48
B 48 48 48 47 48 46 48 48 48
C 48 48 48 48 48 48 48 48 48
D 48 48 48 48 48 44 48 29 48
E x 43 43 41 36 48 45 x 40
F x 44 47 48 48 48 48 19 48

OD/2 OD/2 OD/2 OD/2 OD/2 OD/2 OD/2 OD/2 OD/2
A x O+I x x OD x x OD x
B OD x x OD x OD x x OD
C x OD x x OD x x x OD
D x OD x x x x OD x x
E . ID x x OD x x . x
F . x x OD x x ID x OD

Totals: 15 OD, 3 ID, 50-ish weeks of 48 minutes.
(notice: _ZERO_ pops in handling or driving)

This information (particularly the part in parentheses) would be a lot more helpful if we knew:
a) the levels of OD, HN, and DR of all players involved at the beginning of training, &
b) the potentials of the players

As it stands, all that is obvious is that if a player doesn't reach the magical 48 minutes, he isn't very likely to keep on pace with his peers that do. Edit: sorry, it also seems to imply that ID trains faster than HN & DR as a secondary of OD, at least as far as 2-position training is concerned.

(on an unrelated note, I wish these forums had an easy method of making tables so that this type of information was easier to share and read.)

Hi. Someone has maybe asked about this before but Im in a bit of hurry so i have not time to search it.
So, is it better to get for example 42 minutes 1-position train than 48min 2-positions train? I have three players with 41, 45 and 46 minutes as C this week and Im training C/PF. Is it better to change my training just for centers?

yep its better. especially when you only have 3 trainees, so no need to use 2pozition training, 2pozition is 2x slower than 1pozition for the same skills.

It's not quite as simple as that. Single position training is obviously faster than 2 position training but it's certainly not twice as fast.

I don't remember exactly but I think somewhere, it said the efficiency of two pisition training is about 75% of one position training.
