I'm not sure how discussing "finesse selection process/tactics" fits together with blank line-ups. Sort of mutually exclusive. You're relying on someone (thing!?) else to do the work.

err erase the D word, not that I care but YC literally got fined and forum banned for a short period for a similarly innocent usage of a meh word....not all GMs are as kind LOL...

I have checked, and have been assured that it is fine. Given the current context.

I wont mention any specific players but...

I KNOW there are big men with +5 better OD than the ones we are using but they are not even on the team.
I KNOW we have guards with at least prodigious OD, HA & PA that would be a great asset but they are not even on the team.
I KNOW we have players that were key last season in achieving that best ever result in those games v NZ & SA but this season they are not even on the team.

I have had lots of chances to buy guys like Yusuke Furusawa & Takatoshi Tagawa. If I do buy them will they also be dropped from the team?

Every time he does something reasonable & I soften my attitude he seems to follow it up with something malicious.

IF you look back a few posts I said I would leave it up if you wanted to start a NEW thread for THIS SEASON of NT, and if then this one should be closed.

I can open new thread however my condition is the same - please don't write in this new topic. If not, then I don't want to create new place, where you can write all these flame and trolling posts.

how much IS each player had (you really need a database to pick the 12 best IS scores...reallY?????)

You don't know my opinion about IS and you don't know IS of NT players.

you lost horribly

So it means that Japan is losing horrible for many seasons because I don't see many victories in championships matches vs opponents from other continents. However previous coaches weren't asked for retire from their job.

B.B. King is right on this one. Im used to always seeing at least a rating > 12.5 for Yasujiro...when i see him at 11.5, i know that means he was out classes.

Weak ratings are normal and expected in this match. It was many seasons ago when Japan played in Repechages last time, so You could not know.
It is only competitive match in whole 28-weeks schedule when all players have default game shape = 7. In all other NT games GS is much better (8-9).

Simply put...the salaries on the nt are too small...only 5 salaries over 100k.

There is 6th 100k-ish player however he is SG, so it means he hasn't passing, however he has the best JR of all Japan players. Overall he is weaker than called players (all called guards are PG, I selected players with the best combination of OD+PS).
Here is full list of 36 Japan players with the best salary. 0 players over 200k, only 1 player over 150k, 6 players over 100k and even only 32 players over 50k. I checked all Japan players with salary over 8k and amount of players who can play in NT is very small. And players with worse salary aren't well rounded, so even if I would want to call C with 30k salary and great OD+PS, it's impossible, because they don't exist.

I KNOW there are big men with +5 better OD than the ones we are using but they are not even on the team.

Where?
This is list of all the best bigs out of NT roster:

Shibukji - allstar potential
Sonoda - faaaaaaaaar from OD 5+ ;-)
Wakatsuki - OD = 1
Motoori - quite good, however salary only 40k, too weak.
Kouzuki - yep, he has OD>=5. However he is 35yo, and every Friday he can drop by few levels.
Takizawa - OD = 1, allstar potential
Kishita - if trains can be good in future, now he has salary = 35k.
Suenami - great OD. 35yo, 36k.

All other bigs aren't even worth to say one word about them at this moment (of course few young players could be in NT in future).

In fact, there is only one big on NT level in Japan. It's Furusawa. And he was created in USA in NBBA team, then he played in Sharman. He is 31yo and in next cadency his skills will start to drop. There are few other bigs who are on U21 level. However he wouldn't be sure to play in U21 European Championships final.

So it means that in previous over than dozen seasons even ONE SINGLE good big Japan player weren't created.

However it's very easy. All is needed to play now in Japan NT is:
OD = 6
PS = 4
IS+ID+RB = 45.

And this player is sure to play in NT. Only 4 seasons training is needed.

In last draft was one good player - 18yo, MVP, OD=5, PS=6, TSP=45, 216cm. Quite good skills contribution, RB=1 isn't problem with this height, he should pop 3 times for every 4 RB trainings. He don't even need training out of position. However he was sold to Macau with price = 250k...

I can't help You if You don't want to help Yourself.
